Montrose Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Dr. Limbaugh has always been great with my dog since we first started bringing him 5 years ago straight from animal control. They treated his heartworm successfully and he has been negative every year since. They have affordable pricing and a compassionate care team. Today when I picked my dog up from his dental cleaning he appeared very well taken care of. I received clear discharge instructions and results of lab work in hand.Would and do recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.
August 07 · Jaycie MeaselExcellent care and service, friendly staff. Medications are not overcharged, the vets are funny and kind. The visits go quickly and they schedule visits so other animals aren’t in the waiting room, or they take you to an exam room right away which keeps my dog from getting overexcited.
February 08 · Shelby DHorrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!Please never take your pets there. They are treated in a back room and you never know what is going on with them. Especially if your animals are very anxious as is my dog. He starts shaking in the car even if we head west towards their “clinic”. And I can’t even describe how rude the staff has been to me a 65 year old disabled lady who I was pushed out the door while trying to hang on to handle so I wouldn’t fall just can’t even believe supposed “professionals “ would act like that and dr Sam would not listen just said to me “I don’t want to hear what you have to say-I am taking their”front desk” side on this and get out of here”
April 09 · CathyI adopted a dog with heart worms. He had his first treatment yesterday and this is a new Vet to me.The staff were very friendly and efficient. The Vet Dr Sam is kind and took time with my dog. And answered so my questions.I am very happy with their services and my dog seemed comfortable there.Thank you Montrose Veterinary Hospital!
February 17 · Jody Ann MeierI’d leave zero stars if I could. My mom’s cat just turned four years old and was perfectly healthy. She noticed him losing weight and she took him in right away. The vet said it was either an autoimmune disease or FIP and told my mom that if it was FIP there’s no cure. This is FALSE!!! A cure for FIP was legalized in the U.S. LAST JUNE. After being on steroids and not really seeing any results my mom trusted her gut and decided to take him to Michigan State. He was immediately admitted and if he would have gone there first, it would have been very likely that he would have survived.Aside from not staying up to date on the latest veterinary medicine, this office was incredibly insensitive about the situation. When she called today to get information about her other cats records they stated that they had her other cat “listed as deceased” … no sorry or anything! Shame on this vet - your lack of continued education and empathy is beyond concerning. If you’re thinking of taking your beloved pets here, I urge you to rethink it!
