For residents of Carrollton, Georgia, and the surrounding areas, Pet Supplies Plus offers a local option for a wide array of pet products and services. Its suitability for locals, however, comes with a mixed bag of experiences, as reflected in recent customer feedback. On one hand, the store provides the convenience of a broad selection of pet food, treats, and supplies for various animals, making it a potentially easy one-stop shop for daily pet needs. Services like the self-service dog wash offer practical solutions for pet grooming at home, and some professional groomers, like Ashley, have received high praise for their skill and care, making them a suitable choice for those seeking specific grooming expertise.
On the other hand, recent customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the welfare of live animals in the store, issues with stock availability for certain items like feeder insects, and perceived inconsistencies in staff knowledge, particularly concerning exotic pets and basic husbandry. While it offers a local presence for essential pet items and services like grooming, prospective visitors, especially those interested in live animals or exotic pet supplies, may wish to consider these reported inconsistencies. For standard dog and cat supplies or certain grooming needs, Pet Supplies Plus Carrollton remains a conveniently located option, but a discerning approach based on recent feedback is advisable for the local Georgia pet community.

Pet Supplies Plus Carrollton Reviews
For starters why does the chinchilla have a 2g fish tank for a dust bath? This store is always out of crickets and frozen rats ever since they got the new manager. She can’t order the correct amount. Always dead fish floating in the tanks and you can tell they’ve been left there for awhile. Reptiles look like they are starving every time I go in. The tanks are always full of poop. Employees always on there phones. The new manager couldn’t give correct information on anything. Bearded dragons don’t need uvb? What? Mollys can live with African cichlids? What? I wouldn’t suggest anyone spending there hard earn money here.
May 17, 2025 · John MinterDon’t let that groomer Liz touch a long haired dog. I brought my beautiful double coated collie mix to be groomed and told her to trim her up and for the most part leave her back alone because I have been trying to let it grow back out because she had an allergic reaction and her hair was thinning. It literally looks like she just took a clipper in one size to her entire body. She looks terrible it’s even choppy in some places. I cried the whole way home and I will never let her touch my dog again!!! It was especially upsetting considering I brought my other collie here days prior and Ashley did her and she turned out perfect and we even discussed why you don’t shave double coated dogs. I am furious to say the least!!!!! Her hair takes forever to grow back out as well so she will be stuck like this for a while!!!! That woman needs to be fired if she doesn’t even know basic grooming for long haired dogs and how to properly listen to customers when they tell her how their dogs hair should be done!!!
Apr 12, 2025 · Brianna LuallenWish I could give 0 stars to management and corporate. Tried to get my dog groomed there. I can’t even begin to describe how stupid the debacle was. Not worth my time to write it. I will never do business there again nor recommend this place to anyone which is a shame because the actual employees are great people and ten time more professional than their own bosses. If any of the groomers see this message, please leave this company and start your own business. Y’all are great groomers and great people, your company and managers are just absolutely terrible
May 30, 2025 · Price BrownI was at the dog groomer last week, it was my second time and my last, they called me to pick up my dog Droopy, I told them to cut his hair short along the side and they didn't cut the hair on his tail, it's ridiculous, I paid $80 plus tip, I called the store and they told me that the groomer had already closed, that they were going to leave a note and that they would contact me and what do you think? I'm still waiting for a call from the dog groomer, they cut the hair under my dog Droopy's tail so badly that now my dog has an infection and I have to be treating him, I will never return to that store or buy dog food.
Jan 02, 2025 · Hermilo AcostaThe Pet Salon folks in the back are the best! They are one of the few willing to put on her nail caps and do it at a reasonable price. In and out in about 15 minutes.
