Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
We contacted this vet after moving to the area and not having an established vet. We’ve been seen at Banfield’s but not this location. They made time for us in the schedule last minute. Unfortunately, it was to say goodbye to our fur baby of 14 years. The had a room with dimmed lights, a mirror, tissues, a doorbell for when you were ready, etc. They made it a nice experience. When we picked up his ashes we received a paw print into clay and a card signed by the staff. Their acts of kindness made my heart smile. I appreciate their care and thoughtfulness.
May 11, 2025 · Rachel KushnerThe Team always takes great care of Ruckus and Tiger! I have been a client since 2001. They have cared for all of my pets throughout the years. Thanks Banfield!
Jan 20, 2025 · Debbie BaergaMy review keeps getting removed. This was the most unfortunate experience we have had at Banfield. Our dog was brought in for lameness on one side. It was dismissed by the vet and told he was possibly just dealing with arthritis and the lameness continued. He had a cyst on his paw that ruptured and the swelling spread. The vet did not do a thorough check. When I called to check in on him , the receptionist Lauren was extremely rude. After posting my initial review I received a call from Regina who was nice and attempted to rectify the issue but was shifting the blame on me stating things like I should have shown a picture or pointed it out.We unfortunately will not be returning to this location. This has not been the only issue we had with the vet assigned to us that day.
Mar 25, 2025 · Andreina ReyesWe had a great experience with my schnauzers. Joshua is a kind tech who listens actively and handles our animals with such tender and care. Make sure to request him at your next visit :)
Dec 14, 2024 · Lina DeeUpdate, knocking them down a couple stars. We scheduled our dog's neuter for 6 months old when he was 5 months old and getting his vaccinations, nothing was stated before the appointment at time of scheduling, nothing stated morning of drop off, then I drive the 40 minutes home and get a call that because he's 75% border collie it's recommended to wait until he's closer to 1 to neuter, well too bad. It wasn't brought up prior to scheduling, I had to wake 2 small children up early, then drive him there and get back home, I told them to proceed with the neuter. I was told they'd send him home with his Simparica Trio since he was due along with his 2 medications from the neuter, got home and they had not. He had a follow up in 2 weeks but the AC broke in our car and I wasn't taking 2 kids and a small dog in the heat wave without AC so I'd just have my husband stop by on the way home one day and get it. He stopped by today at 5:45 but nobody was out at the front desks, he asked the Petsmart employees and they said someone was back there and the Petsmart employee even knocked on the door, I also called but their voicemail also said closed already. He waited until after 6 pm but nobody ever came out. If you're going to close early then hours need to be adjusted or there needs to be a memo stating staff may leave early at their own discretion. Not much of a convenience when I'm told my husband can just stop by when we had our pups first visit monthly and pick up the medication when in fact we need to call ahead of time to verify if someone is actually there up until the time they close or not.So far so good. We got a free puppy off of craigslist and wanted to get his shots but I'm not too much on spending $45-$60 a visit for an "office fee" we get at typical vets. I started googling and landed on the Banfield Puppy Wellness Plus package. I signed up and then called to schedule his appointment, only had to wait the week. I arrived about 30 minutes early, got checked in, she told me what shots he was getting done, and he was taken back about 15 minutes later. It was super quick, maybe 5 minutes and he was back with us. Thankfully I had taken a fecal in with me and when she gave him back asked if I had one. We checked out, I got his heartworm preventative and had his next appointment scheduled for 3 weeks later. I got an email the next day saying the lab had received his DNA test and then a phone call 2 days later saying they got his fecal results back and he did have hookworms that they'd have a medication for him. My husband was able to stop by on his way home from work and with our phone number and pup's name was able to pick up the meds and be on his way, no needing to drive an extra 40 minutes out of our way to go get them. I hope we continue to be as pleased with service because it's definitely your best bang for your buck.
