Jun 25, 2025 · steve boltonWe had emergency visits twice in the last month, first for an ear infection and the second visit for severe, possibly life-threatening belly issues. The care that our dog received was exceptional. We are so grateful to the staff for their compassion and professionalism. They truly care for our Abby-girl, as if they loved her as much as we do. The techs, vets and front office personal went above and beyond to reassure us and calm our fears.
Jul 02, 2025 · Pete and Terri LopezWe've been going to Waterville Vet for about 3 years. This was our St. Bernard puppy's 1st visit here. (He had his 1st shots at a vaccination clinic nearer to our home) They all greeted Thunder like he's a celebrity..he is gorgeous, I'm his Mom so I'm partial lol!! Poor boy has been scratching his ears and shaking his head like crazy. He's our 2nd Saint and they are prone to yeast infections and that's what I suspected. I do clean his ears regulary but I couldn't get this under control, they were red, scratched up and had the telltale yeast smell. Time to go to the experts. His ears were swabbed and sure enough it was yeast, but no bacteria so that's very good news! They gave his ears a deep cleaning and treated them with the appropiate meds. That was yesterday (Saturday) and today he is doing so much better. He has barely scratched his ears or shook his head since the DR. visit. Yay!!! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because to get a Saturday appointment it is considered "Urgent Care" and is a more expensive office visit. It's the same for appointments after 6PM on weeknights. This practice started after we became clients, approximately 1- 1-1/2 years ago. We always needed to book a Saturday appointments due to our work schedule. This change makes it impossible to bring your pet in for a visit, even well-care visits for people who work traditional hours unless you take time off work. This is why Thunder, our one year old Saint, had his shots and bloodwork for heartworm medication done at a vaccination clinic near home. Much less expensive service and no office visit charge, however they are not a full service vet. We want to continue at Waterville Vet, we do value them as our Vet. However this extra charge is an unfortunate change to their practice, especially with everything going up. It may give some clients pause when deciding on their vet.
Jun 13, 2025 · Chris HI have been coming here for years! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are always spotless and wait times are minimal. I love the care they provide my animals and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Calypso & Lilibet
Feb 13, 2025 · Maureen Lubey-FosterThe staff was friendly and caring. We were there to have our dog get 2 vaccines.we were there almost 1 hour which made it a little tough trying to keep our dog calm for that length of time. I don’t know if the office was very busy, but the wait was the only thing I wish could have been shorter.
