Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic Reviews
Had my dog Jack neutered here at Nutmeg and it was a wonderful experience as well as very affordable compared to most vet offices. The building is very clean, very inviting, the staff are all very welcoming and very informed. The process is a little long but it is advised to you on their reading material so that was already taken into a fact of our day. So do plan your drop off time well because they have a process and adhere to it. My dog has healed so well and he is back to his normal self in almost 2 weeks time since his surgery . We also followed all after care to the tee. If I had to add one small negative (not truly a bad thing) is you may have some tattoo ink on the coat of your pet for a short time, not a big deal as it comes out. But don’t be surprised by it and just know it does come out. Other than that..I highly recommend!!
May 31, 2025 · Tina CamachoMy cat Jelly got spayed here and the experience was wonderful. However, my little one has had diarrhea for almost 3 weeks post surgery and I’m not entirely sure what the reason is. I’ve gone to the vet and they think she might’ve had a negative reaction to the anesthesia, but I can’t help but to think she caught a virus/bacterial infection during or after her surgery. Either way… the staff was super friendly, the appointment was convenient for me having to work all day, and her incision healed beautifully.
Nov 11, 2024 · Danielle WedderburnMy 3.5 month old male and female kittens got their surgeries here about 3 weeks ago and they are doing perfect. No complications and they are healing just fine. Thanks team for taking care of Lila and Oscar!
Dec 04, 2024 · Samantha RochaI got my Mini Aussie Neutered at Nutmeg last week. They are so kind and did a great job. Efficient and run on time. They made the whole process easy. So thankful for them and places like this non profit that offer these services. They truly love animals
Apr 02, 2025 · Amy KellyI’m really pleased with the spay Nutmeg Clinic did on my seven month old kitten. She had a few hours stumbling around when she got home because of the anesthesia, but by 10pm that night she was back to herself and paying us back by zooming all over the house. The next few days you would have never guessed this cat just had surgery. One week later and her incision is healing up cleanly and nicely. The only drawback: because they are low-cost, the clinic has an enormous waiting list, so don’t wait for your pet to go into heat before you make the appointment (luckily ours hadn’t gone into heat yet). You might be waiting two to three months for your turn.Otherwise, I’m extremely satisfied with their service, and for taking such good care of my cat.
