Bridgeport Veterinary Hospital Reviews
The Good:The prices are very reasonable, the inside seems for the most part clean, also the nursing staff is friendly but seems overworked. The Bad:You can find parking in the back but it's extremely tight and is an accident waiting to happen. The Ugly:The doctor didn't take more than a 2 second look at my dog before he gave him a general diagnosis.I couldn't communicate with the doctor because he didn't speak English. That's something they should notify customers before they enter.

Jan 25, 2024 · Roberta AquinoDO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. My mother went in with my dog because he was having a few issues. Long story short he told my mother that the dog had was "gas" and possibly a virus that was going around. He got 3 shots (not sure for what) and antibiotics to take home and that he should be fine after taking it. He threw it up and a day later my mom took him to another vet for a second opinion and he had a developed TUMOR. Unfortunately, we had to put him down because he was already in a critical condition. But we've been taking him to this vet for a while now and I'm not sure why they never noticed this. They will do anything to get you out the door and the most they'll do is give antibiotics or shots. These people do not care about your pet. Save your money and time please.
Nov 22, 2024 · Miriam LorduyI read a review that I disagree with. Sharing my experience with the Bridgeport Veterinary Hospital. 1st visit was me bringing my sick 12 year old Persian cat for an appointment but she passed the day before the appointment. I bought her body there where they cremated her. They gave me her ashes and paw print in a beautiful box with a card🩷. 2nd visit.. thought my 14 year old Callie had a cut, bought her for an appointment, turned out to be a tumor. Ordered blood work. See I’m thankful for the blood work cause now I know how sick my baby really is. The Doctor gave me meds that will help. Didn’t have to but he did. I could come back for refills anytime. All in all the doctor is old but kool & very much in love with his job and position. Very gentle with you & your pet..the prices for their services are affordable and they care about their patients. I received empathy, sincere sympathy & support and I thank them and appreciate their help💛
