★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had to put down my 17 year old dog and called them for pricing. They were so kind and the entire process was very nice considering the circumstances.Literally from the time I called to the time I met the doctor to do the procedure. I could see the compassion in their eyes at my situation and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know who I can trust if I ever have an emergency in the future and that is a very nice feeling to have.
July 09 · Kristen KingWe said goodbye to our beloved 16.5-year-old fur girl, Riley, yesterday, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and compassionate experience than the one we had at BluePearl in AH. The staff, and especially the doctor, treated Riley with such tenderness and respect, taking the time to truly know her before gently guiding us through her final moments. The doctor explained each step with care, and the room felt quiet, comforting, and homey—more like a sanctuary than a clinic. We were given all the time we needed, never rushed, and felt fully supported throughout. Thank you for helping us give Riley the gentle farewell she deserved.
May 18 · Kelly MarkerAsk yourself this: How do you want to spend the last 10 hours with your pet?I brought my cat, Sprinkles, to this emergency vet at around 7:50 PM. He had been missing for three days and came home clearly sick — lethargic, coughing, and unable to eat or drink. We were scared and rushed him in, hoping for immediate care.Triage took him to the back, which gave me hope that he’d be treated quickly. But that was the start of five long, wasted hours. For hours, I sat in the waiting room with no updates. When I asked, I was repeatedly told he was “stable.” That word gave me false hope. Eventually, a tech took me into a room, but she seemed overwhelmed and distracted. I had to repeat details multiple times. Still, no vet. Still, no treatment. At 12:30 AM — nearly five hours later — I asked for my cat back. When they finally brought him out, I asked simple questions:Did you see him cough?Did he drink anything? They hadn’t noticed the coughing. They hadn’t given him water. I don’t believe they ever took him out of the carrier. Nothing had been done.We rushed him to a different emergency vet — and they acted immediately. They put him on oxygen, gave him fluids, sedated him, and started treatment. But it was too late. That night, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives.I lost my boy. And this clinic stole the last five hours I could’ve had with him. Time I could’ve spent holding him, comforting him, saying goodbye. This place didn’t just fail to treat my cat — they failed to communicate, failed to be honest, and failed to give me the chance to seek care elsewhere. If you can’t handle your caseload, say so. Don’t keep people waiting with false promises while their pets suffer alone in the back. Not everything is in your control. But honesty is.Please, don’t do what they did to us. Ask questions. Push for answers. And if something doesn’t feel right — leave.
July 30 · Jim TomasI brought my 13 1/2 year old Akita in for swelling of the right side of her face. She also had some bleeding too. She was panting and in obvious discomfort. I thought she might have had a fractured tooth with her face being swollen. They assured me they would get me back asap because of her panting and the fact that she was bleeding. Which I did go back shortly after. The private exam room I went into was clean. The girl took my history and then proceeded to tell me what they would be doing and approximately how long it would take, and roughly how much it would cost, depending on certain scenarios. They allowed me to see her before she came fully out of her sedation and told me what was going on, what they had to do and what I would need to do to take care of her. They were all very kind and very professional and treated my Lucy with loving care and affection. I am very grateful to Dr Petrous and the entire staff for taking such great care of her.
June 15 · GinaSuddenly and unexpectedly my baby girl Aria passes away on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. I was really lost, confused and couldn’t think straight. The staff literally wrapped my heart in their arms and took care of everything. As difficult as it was for me, they treated me like family. They were compassionate, caring and respectful. Thank you so much for all you do; especially 24 hours a day/365 days a year!! The best!!
