Community Animal Care Reviews
My cats have been patients there for many years. Recently, my 18-year-old, Greta, had to be put to sleep. It was a very difficult decision and I was distraught. Everyone who helped us through this was kind, patient, and sensitive, not only to my kitty’s comfort but to my emotional distress. Several days after her passing, I received a sweet sympathy card signed by the entire staff. The humans at this vet practice understand what we go through when we lose our beloved animals. Thank you for helping Greta out of her misery and for supporting me through a difficult transition.
Jul 03, 2025 · Deidre SeppWe brought our rescue pitt here. Staff were very friendly, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. The room was clean upon entry and I noticed they cleaned up shortly after we left. We also left feeling more prepared and confident. Highly recommend.
Mar 27, 2025 · Jillian CruzBrought my dog in for an emergency because she was having seizures they were trying to charge us 1000$ just for testing not even medication included! One of the front desk staff ladies is very rude and snobby clearly does not like her job ! I ended up leaving and finding a cheaper and much nicer emergency vet in Middletown with kinder staff and better pricing but overall don’t come here for an emergency they will try to charge you an insane amount!!!!!They will charge u 121 just to accept her as an emergency patient but then you have to pay more for whatever they tell you it’s not worth it 👎
Jun 18, 2025 · ShawtyMonday I brought my magic in as an emergency due to signs of distress from his normal behavior. Dr. Pelesz saw us and I’m thankful she did. She asked questions, what had happened, what I was seeing and provided solutions to what she was seeing. After blood work and opting for the ultrasound we got the answers that we unfortunately were not looking for. But Dr. Pelesz was compassionate; relatable even on a personal level and laid out all the options which could or could not work. She never gave false expectations and kept it realistic which I needed and I applaud her for that. She was there with me every step of the way ultimately to me putting magic down to take away his pain. Thank you for everything. Here’s my magic and the great 12 years of life he had.
Dec 11, 2024 · Thomas TheysohnDisrespectful and VERY expensive. Uncaring about our cat who died. We had been clients for 50+ years and was very happy, that however changed in the last several years.Below are pictures of our darling boy. One is the day he died with his mother snuggled next to him. She had been licking him to try to comfort him, until his sezures were so horrid that she could not take it anymore. I sat with him for the many hours of his suffering until he finally died. My heart broke for Ari's hours of a painful death. He had been the cutest cat, running downstairs to great us when we'd come home throwing himself down and rolling over. Then he'd climb up a few stairs, lay across it for us to pet him. Then he'd go up a few more, again waiting to be petted. Finally at the top. he'd duck around the corner with his paw outstreatched to pay with our hand. His mom is traumatized and needy since his death and we all mourn his loss.
