Green Lake Pet Hospital Reviews
I recently took my dog in for dental treatment. I had her examined at the Willmar pet hospital and they told me that she had 7 teeth that needed to be removed. I was sorry to hear that but I understand that she needed it so I called for an appointment and they told me that I needed to take her to Green Lake for the surgery. I had never been there but I found the clinic and took her in. Everything went well and when I picked her up they had taken out 8 teeth which surprised me but she seemed fine but groggy. They showed me the bill which was less than I expected and that was great. Now I just handed her my credit card and paid the bill. Now when I was ready to leave I saw that they charged me $16 for using my credit card and never mentioned that they charged for that. After looking around I saw a sign tucked away back in the corner telling people that they charged a fee for credit cards. That really annoyed me because I wouldn’t have used it if I had known. I’ll probably still use the vet service but I guarantee that I won’t use my credit card there again. I feel that if they want to charge, their sign should be posted right up front where you can see it and they should also inform of the fee. Not happy.!!

February 01 · Del MahlumDr. Cook & all the staff are amazing. Our dogs have been treated here for 12 years. Recently, we had to put down our 15 year old dog. They have always been caring & compassionate & were more so on the day we said our final goodbyes. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog & us too on a very hard day.I highly recommend this vet.

March 18 · Dominik Robakthe vet at this hospital is afraid of humans and will not see you. the vet would not treat my cat's eyes unless I had an immediate rabies vax given to the cat. i told the vet helper, as the vet hid behind the curtain in OZ, that i did not want to vax the cat when it was sick. so, my sick cat was turned away from help because i would not have him vaccinated when his eyes were watery. i looked up the stats of rabies in cats in minnesota from the last 17 years of recorded cases. out of 12,000 cats tested, 2% had rabies. i do want the cat to get the vax but not when he is sick. this is a strange vet with mental health issues of being afraid of people and control issues of forcing people to have things done to animals that the person caring for the pet does not want done on command. just more of the unstable ideology of the last 5 years. no thank you.
