Heartland Veterinary Care Reviews
We relocated from Ocala, Florida to Greenville, Ohio in late summer of 2023, after 25 years in the thoroughbred breeding/racing industry in FL, VA, MD, and KY.My husband's Uncle referred us to Heartland.Needless to say, we have very high standards when it comes to veterinary and grooming care, after managing all horse care programs for Thoroughbredbroodmares, foals, yearlings, in training, and racing when off the track.Lily, our Jack Russell, 2 at the time, was very shy when we first began both veterinary and grooming appointments at Heartland. All veterinarians scheduled for Lily's appointments were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very understanding and compassionate.Carissa has been Lily's Groomer since day 1 and has been so outstanding and patient with Lily's fear of crates, and for some reason blow dryers...Carissa is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and goes over the call of duty to provide a safe, secure, and calm atmosphere and experience for Lily. Now Asa has been grooming Lily and she is also extremely professional and very patient and kind...Lily has adapted well to both Carissa and Asa. And we are so blessed to have them both caring for Lily!It is a great skill to be able to understand an animal of any breed and how to manage their care and tailor their care and grooming to each specific animal/client.Both Carissa and Asa treat Lily with genuine fondness, care, and warmth...We are truly grateful to the entire Heartland family/team!I highly recommend Heartland for all veterinary care on all levels!Rene' W. May 28, 2025 · Rene' FolandThought they were fine but more I went one of the woman in their had bad attitude. They give expired meds then when questioning they said it's ok it's still effective. Then my dog got kidney stones they put her on an expensive food 64dollars for 12 cans. When she got stones a second didn't change nothing to her diet kept her on same food. Wish I would of had money and went elsewhere. Her final days instead of getting her in they were worried more about money and getting her regular shots instead of fixing something they cause unfortunately she died before her check up and shots because of their greed!!!!!!
Apr 15, 2025 · Randy Campbell JrIf I could give it 6 stars I would. Dr. Nusbaum is so good with my very anxious dog, Missy, and right from the start she had a plan to help relieve Missy of her stress. Everyone that walked in she knew and greeted with warmth. Side note; everyone was in a mask and it's one of the few places that actually take that step to protect it's clients around the area.
Nov 17, 2020 · Emily SmithWe're so wonderful with my Daisy. They are extremely inexpensive compared to most vets and everything was in a timely, professional manner. I can't say enough about this veterinarian and the assistants.
Sep 03, 2020 · Jaclyn K ThompsonListened to my concerns. Took time to explain my one older dog’s medical situation.
