★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t say enough wonderful things about this clinic! The staff is not only professional but also incredibly compassionate. My pets are like family, and the team here treats them just the same. They always go the extra mile to make sure my fur babies are comfortable, and their gentle approach means the world to me, especially with sensitive animals. From the moment we walk in, it’s clear that they genuinely care. I trust them completely with my pets’ health and well-being. Five stars all the way!
September 10 · Camelia MaholeaI can't even begin to describe how great everyone was at Mountain Home Vet. We were on vacation in Pigeon Forge and our 14 year old became very ill. Mountain Home got us right in and gave us all options available to our sweet dog. Ultimately it was decided to let her go and release her from any further pain and the staff there was so great. They light candles in the lobby to let people know that they're saying goodbye to a loved one and to keep their voices down. Our daughter wasn't wanting to stay in the room while we said goodbye and they offered to take her to see the pets that they have there so she didn't have to stay in the room. Then they got us a clay paw print to take home and handled all the cremation and mailed the ashes to our house. The care everyone here gave us was second to none and I can't tell you how grateful we are of all of you and just wanted to thank you all for making this hard time as easy on us as you could.
July 02 · Tyler MooneyThese people are the best! We were on vacation & our dog was injured, they got us in right away. They were prompt friendly & I couldn't have asked for better care for Lala. Thank you so much!
June 27 · Lisa FarrisI had bad experience with this place taking my cat coco to the vet. My cat is sweetie and most nice to the vet I don't know what the did to her but now she hiss and growl and fights. I moved here from Wyoming. This is what happened i took coco here bc she had some tummy issues they took her away without examining her with me there. And than they said cat ececape didn't knowledge me it was my cat and use a cat net on her instead of coming to get me and have me to calm her down. Im sorry but this place is not good place for taking animals at all. After what did to my coco.
August 25 · Beth FusThe Assistant was wonderful, very kind and not demeaning all. Heard me out and everything that was going on at home with my animal. However, the MVB, Jennifer Papworth was not. Not only did she make snarky remarks throughout the whole visit as I was trying to get a referral to mercifully euthanize my animal as she was no longer eating or drinking properly due to her quick decline in mental and physical health; this vet went on a spiel of her grandeur and multiple degrees. She then proceeded to express how she herself had an anxious animal herself (sorrows) and that she thinks my dog can be manageable with 20$ medication after the thousands of dollars I've spent to help her over the course of her short life. What I believe to be neurological and will continue to decline as her "anxieties" go in short spurts, she proceeded to tell us after her self-success proclamation, to dig the knife in at an already heart-breaking interaction, that she was fine, getting love and wagging her tail - even sat for a treat. I am glad they had a wonderful five-minute interaction after she nearly strangled herself trying to get away - as she does regularly. Very much appreciated the 75-dollar interaction and helpful knowledge that Dr. Papworth has varying degrees and that what she described as probable cause for euthenasia (which my animal was experiencing on a daily basis) was not enough to get a referral without paying 20+ extra on medication.Thanks.
