What is worth choosing about Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic?
For pet and farm animal owners in Illinois, the most compelling reason to choose Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic is its unique and comprehensive service model. The fact that one practice can provide care for a wide variety of animals, from a house cat to a horse, is an immense convenience. The availability of farm calls is also a significant benefit that few clinics in urban or suburban areas can offer. Furthermore, the clinic's readiness to handle emergency and urgent care needs provides a crucial sense of security for animal owners in times of crisis. The positive review, which praises the staff for their care and effective diagnosis, also suggests that when things go well, the clinic can provide exceptional service.
However, the other customer review highlights a very serious issue with communication and client relations. The detailed negative feedback, which describes a scheduling error, a rude demeanor from the veterinarian, and a lack of empathy during a family emergency, is a major concern. It suggests that while the medical knowledge may be present, the level of professional and compassionate communication may not always be consistent. For a potential client, this means it is crucial to understand that the experience may vary. While the clinic's medical capabilities, especially for a mixed-animal practice, are impressive, it would be wise to approach a visit with clear expectations and to be prepared for a firm approach to scheduling and communication. The decision to choose Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic should be based on weighing its unique service offerings against the potential for a challenging interpersonal experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This Dr....had the nerve to wrongfully tell me apt.schedule date and was extremely rude and talking over me accusing me of talking over her lol....and said she was jus doing what's best for my dog lol by arguing with me over my dog when I called and tried changing apt.to a convenient date....she's extremely rude and careless for my dog...she's to much attitude for me to have my animals around....she's good at explaining what's wrong when she's asked but that's all we got from her...worst vet Dr I've ever been to!! Hands Down.... knowledge is extremely important but how your attitude towards my dog is just as important...they gave us wrong apt time and when called to reschedule the Dr was absolutely horrible.. we had an apt 2 weeks before and had family emergency and couldn't make it.so we called back to reschedule and rescheduled.gave us wrong apt.time so called to change it for vet Dr to get on phone 3had a horrible attitude!!! If she cared about my dog with his serious condition there would have been no attitude! All she had to say is he needs blood done before give medicine and I'm sorry my staff have u wrong apt.time but tomorrow we have him down and are booked and Friday is to late.....what's so hard about that?????????????? She was just being heartless over my dog and my family emergency and was overwhelmed cause she'd been out of office for a week and everyone was begging to get in now and she took it out on me..my dying dog!!!!!!!!!!! He has serious Cushing's disease and getting worse and just completely unacceptable! So I'll gladly take my dogs records and take him somewhere with compassion and understanding.....really disappointed!!! Thought she was gonna be good but can't seem to handle the pressure of patients needing in after she's been on vacation for a week!!!!!! Just muchly unnecessary...by the way ur response to my review is not exactly what happened...I called to verify today's apt.to learn it's actually tomorrow and tried fixing apt.to be convenient since have 1 car and husband took off today for apt.ur secretary told us incorrectly and he works tomorrow and u were extremely rude! With me u get what u give...so sorry u felt so overwhelmed to create such an attitude for something you should apologize for and just do best to get him in asap ...you wanted to argue.yesyou seen him July 3rd.he had apt.we missed due to major family emergency and I called and rescheduled June 10th for today we thought..you said no it's tomorrow and I can't do him today and Friday is to late which u didn't even ask last day of his meds lol ..so it's tomorrow or it's pointless lol....well honey it's your office fault the apt.was messed up to begin with so simple sorry bout that let's see what we can do.reschedule and be done instead u took phone from ur staff talking over me explaining that he can't have more meds until bloods done blah blah...we learned that June 3rd.... irrelevant...we just needed the apt.to do it...when I told you I didn't like your attitude towards me you wanted to cancel my dogs apt.tomortow knowing how important his blood work is right now cause I told u to keep apt.but I'd have to discuss with husband to make sure he could get off again tomorrow to take him ...u didn't like me telling you I felt your attitude was unnecessary and that's why u cancelled it wishing my dog the best! So yeah! I'm pissed your office made the scheduling mistakes and then couldn't apologize for it or just fix it or anything..u just wanted to argue about it...wth....sorry your explanation is a little off . Hope you have a great day as you do deserve as my dog will be taken care of regardless....thanks for wasting my time today and irritating me with the attitude I so did not deserve...my dog didn't deserve!!! Respond with whatever you do choose but I just stayed all the exact facts! Take for what it's worth.....as I said everyone very knowledgeable vet but didn't do me or my little dog family right at all!!!! How can you explain such behavior....I'd feel awful. Especially with the condition he's in....thanks for nothing
