Millcreek Animal Hospital Reviews
The Grimshawe's are the best duo Erie needed for Veterinary care. I could not be more thankful for their exceptional care, knowledge and compasion while caring for our lab mix who was misdiagnosed and was given a poor prognosis by our previous vet prior to seeking a second opinion at Millcreek Animal Hospital. Everyone staff member I have encountered has been so kind and truly care about your pet. Our dogs autoimmune condition is now well managed and is considered to be in remission. They take the time to discuss your pets care and treatment plan. other lab has seen Dr. Ivy at a previous vet practice and she is exceptional as well. I highly recommend Millcreek Animal Hospital whether you need to establish care, or seeking a second opinion, I would trust no other than the Veterinary Team at Millcreek Animal Hospital! We live almost 40 minutes away from the practice but they are absolutely worth the drive!
May 17, 2025 · Alyssa BohrerMy baby Justice was sent to heaven today. I couldn’t have had a more peaceful and compassionate experience for her and us. Such gentle staff and doctors. Humane process and they give you the control to say when you’re ready and when you’re done. As much time as you need. They made the room set up for her with her name, a blanket, tissues, and chocolates and gave her lots of love. The clinic was silent allowing my dog to not be nervous and give us our necessary time and her attention. And they allowed all 3 of us back with her unlike some clinics I’ve heard of only allowing 1. I 100% recommend this place forever more! Thank you guys so much for making a very difficult process the best it can be 💜💜
May 21, 2024 · Cortney LyonsDr Ivy is the most amazing, compassionate and caring vet I have ever encountered. Thank you from The Glass’ and our loving caring yellow lab THOR.
Dec 07, 2024 · Nancy GlassI used to recommend this vet office to everyone I knew. I first came to MAH 10 years ago to treat my cat that had FIV and at the time I couldn’t ask for better care. For years any time someone needed pet care I recommended Dr. Grimshawe and raved about his office. But I’m sad to say something has drastically changed and this is no longer the office it was, and I have friends who have also expressed this same disappointment.About a year ago it started to feel like we weren’t getting the proper care for our pets anymore, and like we were being rushed when we had questions during our visits. We’d call for things and would be told they’d call back and then never would, we would get the run around about prescriptions and everything seemed to be getting more complicated and the staff was less helpful and knowledgeable. We waited it out hoping it would improve but unfortunately it kept getting worse and we ultimately decided to switch to a different vet in Erie. Even getting our pets’ records sent over required multiple calls. It’s a shame, I don’t know if the office has just bitten off more than they can chew or what is going on but I never thought I’d speak negatively of this office. I only wrote this review to hopefully make the Grimshawes aware that the care has gone downhill and people are leaving because of it. My best friend has also switched to a new vet after experiencing the same lack of care. I hope someday this office gets back to its previous state of impeccable care because the Erie area used to be so lucky to have them.
May 06, 2025 · NellI can’t say enough good things about this vet and Dr. Ivy. We weren’t regular patients here, but we had an emergency with one of our dogs, and our usual vet couldn’t get us in. They got us in immediately, and Dr. Ivy was so compassionate and caring during such a difficult time with the passing of our dog.Her kindness and the care she showed us made such an impression that I decided to switch my other two dogs to her care. She is absolutely amazing – she takes her time, listens, and truly cares about her patients and their families. I’m so grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her enough.
