The Anna Wellness Center-Erie Reviews
First time using their services- needed to get my two male kittens neutered. Easy to schedule, got a nice run down of how to prepare them (no food after midnight, separate carriers, drop off time ect) staff was friendly and prompt with getting us checked in. Pickup was a breeze, kitties recovered perfectly, and someone on staff even called the next day to see how they were doing. Efficient, kind, and cost-effective! Very appreciative of them in our Erie community. Thank you so much!!!
Mar 30, 2025 · Amanda WoinerWhat an incredible place. While in the waiting room getting a procedure done which I couldn't afford to do elsewhere two other people came in with the same story. It was a total of five animals in 5 minutes that I was there. Imagine how many lives they touch in a year. The women behind the counter are great, overall just in awe of everything they do. Thank you
May 19, 2024 · Matt KleinWe have taken our dog Lucky there since he was adopted in 2016 from the shelter. We never had any issues with shots or yearly checkups, but he never had any problems until recently either. Lucky had a skin tag that turned into a hanging mass from his underbelly. They performed the surgery and that went fine. Then we noticed that he slowly was not eating and drinking, not to mention throwing up. We had to beg them to be seen and are told they are not a full service vet. Very confused by this since they just did surgery. They had us drop him off in the morning and pick-up at close. They said he had an infected canine tooth and ear infection and that was what was causing his problems. They also said he had a small ulceration on his surgery sight. He could not sallow the pills and was not eating, drinking, and could barely walk after just 2 days of that appointment. They were closed the day we got him in at Glenwood Pet Hospital and honestly was a blessing in disguise. The vet there told us that he has Lymphoma cancer and that's why he was not eating or drinking because his lymph nodes were so swollen! She couldn't understand why he was diagnosed with the other issues because he didn't have an ear infection or infected canine tooth and all the meds he was given were incorrect too. They even took.his cone off and said he did not need that! I was so upset I stopped my $230 check and called them to let them know. The girl I spoke to was not very nice, told me they did clean his ears, so that was why no infection was there, that she would let the doctor know, and notify the director that I canceled my check. Well please do! I feel completely ripped off and lied to! Very disappointed and will not be back to the Wellness Center. This does not have anything to do with the Anna Shelter, as they are wonderful and do many great things! Unfortunately, the Wellness Center East is just not a very professional establishment. We will not be returning.
Aug 18, 2023 · Kristy MillerAbsolutely the worst human beings I have ever met. The lady at the front desk was ridiculous. Obviously does not care about animals at all. Should not be working in a place like this! She made it a point to tell me to make sure I sign the paperwork saying I was responsible for any possible life-saving procedures that needed done basically if my pet were to have a bad reaction, they would not resuscitate my pet unless I sign the paperwork agreeing to pay all additional fees like seriously she had the nerve to look at me and say we won't save your pet if you don't sign this! I was told a price of $80 for the procedure that I had done then when I get there it was a whole Nother price because they added additional fees. It was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. These people do not care about pets, and I would not recommend anyone go there! I will never go back to this place I will go somewhere else these people are horrible didn't care about animals they care only about money it's sad 😢
Sep 13, 2023 · james lockeThe people were so very nice! I dont quite understand fixing a male dog. You leave the wound open, but each vet does it differently. They o call to check up on your animal. Which I found to be great! The only thing is trying to contact them to get scheduled for your animal is a bit of a nightmare. But other than that, I had a great experience.
