Warwick Valley Veterinary Hospital Reviews
My pups appointment with Dr. Brown was bizarre, comical and frustrating. He wasted time talking about other vets (I think) - most of the time I had no idea what he was talking about, though he repeated himself every 10 minutes. When a certain subject came up he searched for a certain website to teach me about the topic. The problem was that he forgot he did it already and did it again and again. He asked me the same questions repeatedly, forgetting I just answered them. He tried to have me switch from the ticks and fleas treatment I was using to the one he was selling, but he also tried not to be too obvious about it, so his sales tactics were a bit incoherent - and, yes, repetitive, because he kept forgetting he already had tried them on me just a few minutes earlier. Thus a 20 minute appointment for vaccines stretched to 80 minutes, my pups became agitated, the office staff seemed hurried, worried and overwhelmed with Dr. Brown’s non-existent time management and that resulted in some drama. His skills in physically handling my pups were appalling. Where other vets just distracted them and quickly drew blood or gave injections, Dr. Brown seemed to be on a different wavelength - that was scary and unpleasant. I know early (or not so early) dementia when I see it - sad.
Jul 02, 2025 · NEWe were recommended to bring our new puppy here and found the staff to be friendly and Dr. Brown to be helpful and kind.
Apr 27, 2025 · Britta BergacsI have three cats. One of them got neutered a couple of months ago and and one of them got spayed today. The other is their baby who will be visiting again soon for shots and a neuter as well. I highly recommend this vet office. Dr. Brown is very knowledgeable and great with my babies. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time and he stays up to date on new advancements in medicine. He doesn't do anything unnecessary but he's very thorough, listens to your concerns, and takes the time to teach you about at home health checks, what he's doing and why, what's necessary at the time and may or may not be necessary later. The prices seem to be pretty reasonable for the quality as well. The ladies at the front desk and the vet techs are all great and you can you can tell everyone is there because they love animals. This isn't a huge money grabbing cooperation like I've dealt with in the past. Ten out of ten. I would say take your pets here anytime. My coworker and I have even bonded over how great this place is.
Jan 06, 2024 · Mikayla CantrellSome of the kindest, most caring, and compassionate animal lovers I've had the pleasure of having care for my dog. I have never left a visit from here feeling like we got inadequate care or feeling like we took any unnecessary steps. I highly recommend this vet office for any of your fur babies for any reason.
Feb 25, 2024 · Indi ChismDr.Brown and his team are incredible. The ladies upfront are so nice and helpful! I have been going to him for a few years now and he has always been so kind not only to me, but my pets as well. He has a great sense of humor which is a nice break from all the seriousness of a vet visit, and he also doesn’t do extra stuff you don’t need (like some other vets try to do). He has gone the extra mile for me and my pets countless times, even when it’s been inconvenient for him. There’s nothing better than a person who is passionate about what they do and someone who’s empathetic. He truly is the greatest vet I have encountered and I hope he chooses to never retire hahaha. I don’t know that I’d ever find another vet like him.
