Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
I just want to start by saying the front staff here is super nice but I am disappointed with our entire visit from start to finish today. Made an appointment for 1pm and was seated in the room with my dog around 12:55pm. At 1:50pm, I am still waiting in the room and had to check and see what is going on. Staff admitted they went to lunch and forgot I was in there. They end up having to keep my dog for testing which is fine, but why have me wait when I could have just done a drop off to begin with.I leave and get a call an hour later from Dr. Atwood with a treatment plan of unnecessary things totaling over $500. I have a monthly membership here which clearly covers nothing. I’ve been coming here for a while but always have wild treatment plans with huge amounts that make literally no sense. Will be our last visit here and cancelling my membership.
Feb 21, 2025 · Mike HasenauerI signed up for the yearly plan to receive 2 checkups for my dog. Sometimes they are very busy. I always get my questions answered with no problem.
Oct 20, 2021 · Kimberley BillupsMy girlfriend and I have been calling this place several times a day for OVER A MONTH and cannot get in contact with anyone here. We have two young kittens that we are currently paying $55 a month for each for their kitten plan (or something else with a similar name). We had an initial appointment months ago and have not been able to get into contact with this place ever since. Genuine thievery. 0/5.
Dec 12, 2024 · SamLisa was great at the front desk!!! Doctors always take well care of Diesel!!! Love the staff ! Recommend to all dog owners
Mar 25, 2025 · Brooke JonesI was at the Niagara Falls Blvd store to get a prescription card for my animal today. My daughter and I arrived at 5:50pm (10 minutes before closing). There was already another customer waiting when we arrived. He had mentioned that he had been there for 10 minutes before we arrived. Not an employee to be found. We had to ask the staff at Petsmart for help. The manager walked back behind to the doors, quickly returned stating they were closed. The hours clearly stated they would be open to 6. If you advertise 6pm YOU SHOULD STAY OPEN TO 6pm. As myself and the other customer were leaving we saw two Banfield employees in scrubs quickly leaving behind us. This is Ridiculous! It's not the most convenient spot to go to. When you arrive with time to spare for something as simple as a RX card for pet food you would think that the workers would at least TRY to help. Especially when they are technically still open.
