Family Veterinary Care Reviews
If you’ve had bad experiences, lost beloved pets, long history without finding a primary care provider home for your little fur baby- look no more! This place is AWESOME !! Everyone at this practice is professional, caring, and very committed to providing excellent care for animals.Dr. Paul Klainbard & Dr. Ryan Arrucci are exceptional providers . We found 1week old Aschtro and his four siblings abandoned by their cat mama behind a house in an open lot . We were able to find homes for all the other kittens except for the runt of the pack - little Aschtro .We already had two rescues at home, and had recently lost our beloved Butters From cancer, not too long ago. We couldn’t really afford to take in another cat, but upon visiting several shelters and finding no foster providers , we ended up staying with little Aschtro. The staff at this practice answered all our questions and really worked with us to support what has been a very difficult financial time in recent months. We highly recommend this place without reservation . Thank you, family veterinary care for taking the best care of the new addition to our family- little Aschtro 🫶🤗
Jan 18, 2025 · Paul and Ruby F.The most expert in diagnosis and treating and keeping our cats healthy and living long. The most compassionate when we had to put 1 of our cats to sleep. The new facility is amazing. We drive 30 minutes for care this gr8!
Jun 22, 2025 · randi finkelsteinThe vets are pretty good. Good system overall. Very expensive. The woman that sits in the corner by the door handles a lot of the customer interactions...she is quite rude. On multiple occasions I had to ask for an itemized receipt before paying my bill because something didn't make sense. In both cases she argued with me that I was wrong and was very terse and short tempered about it, and both times I had to get the vet or assistant involved and in both cases she was wrong. She did not apologize. 2nd time felt vengeful. She also yelled at me for putting my purse on the desk...!Otherwise the overall experience with everyone else employed in the office is pretty delightful. It's just the one woman in the corner...
Mar 08, 2025 · C RI thought family veterinary care was a great place. I have taken my dog there for the past three years. I was very disappointed on 3/21/25 when I texted them to let them know my dog was very ill and if they could see him. They told me they would put him on an appointment cancellation list because they don’t accept walk ins. You would think in such dire situation they would show compassion, urgency to want to assist. The times I have been there, there is one maybe two other patients. I had to scramble quickly to find a facility as time was of essence and ended up taking him to VEG hospital, where they tried treating him and ended up euthanizing my beloved pet. Prior to this he was in excellent health, received only a few months before a clean bill of health from family veterinary care. My pet passed away later that day.
Mar 25, 2025 · StevenFair and honest. After trying a few different vets, we settle on Family Veterinary Care. I have a senior dog at the time of this review, she's is over 16 years old. My family has trusted them with performing surgery on her and emergency visits in the past. Thanks to them, we are enjoying our dog for longer than most. The prices are fair. The doctors and techs here are second to none.
