It is important for prospective clients to consider all available feedback when making a decision. While there are strong positive endorsements, a recent negative review raises significant concerns. This review highlights issues with rude staff, a condescending doctor, and exceptionally high prices (a $7000 bill for an 11-year-old dog with an enlarged heart undergoing anesthesia for 4+ hours, without a definitive diagnosis or treatment plan, and being referred back to their primary vet for treatment). This particular experience strongly advises potential clients to "RUN. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE." and to specifically check more recent reviews on platforms like Yelp. It also questions the necessity of tests performed. This contrasting feedback underscores the importance of individual experiences and the need for new clients to perhaps perform thorough due diligence, including discussing pricing, diagnostic processes, and treatment plans in advance, to ensure transparency and alignment with expectations for their pet's care.

Briarcliff Animal Hospital Reviews
RUN. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. And make sure to look at how old all the positive reviews are before you book. I was there about a month ago. Short and sweet. Don’t go. go on Yelp and see the reviews, I wish I did BEFORE I went. The staff is SO RUDE, the doctor is condescending and the prices they charge are ridiculous. On top of that, make sure the doctor HAS to do the tests he’s doing.$7000.00 later, 4+ hours under anesthesia for an 11 year old dog with an enlarged heart (the doctor’s words)…???And I still didn’t have a concrete, definitive answer. I was told to go back to my vet for treatment.Who does that? I’m just lucky and happy my dog is alive. They did that right, I guess. 1 star.
Mar 20, 2023 · Danielle DDr. Moyer is an outstanding veterinarian. He has taken care of our pets for many years, and we are consistently impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. The staff is excellent as well. We've recommended Briarcliff Animal Hospital to several friends and they have been equally impressed. We wholeheartedly recommend them.
Mar 06, 2019 · Rob CDr. Moyer has taken care of both of our rescue dogs since we first got them. Both of our dogs came with hidden health issues like many rescues do. He even kept in touch after hours about test results and next steps. There is a very warm personal feeling here that lets you know they actually care about your pets health.Thank you Dr. Moyer for helping both of our now healthy and happy dogs!
Oct 18, 2019 · MarioWe were a one and done visit. The condition of the building is in an advanced state of neglect and unbecoming of a professional practitioner. Stained, drooping ceiling tiles, white painted walls stained yellow - it’s difficult to trust if equipment has been properly sanitized as a result. The veterinarian failed to demonstrate any friendly and personal demeanor. I’d know his name if he introduced himself after we introduced ourselves, but he didn’t. Vet is jaded, entirely indifferent, eager to cut us off at every sentence and deeply condescending. If you care about your pet, keep looking. It shouldn’t be hard to do better.
Feb 16, 2023 · Joe DiVitaI have been going to Dr.Moyer for years. He and his staff go above and beyond to take excellent care of my animals. Just recently my male cat Nicco was very sick in grave condition. I honestly believe that if I had brought him anywhere else he would not be here today. He had an urinary blockage and his kidneys shut down.Dr. Moyer took excellent care of Nicco. He made a full recovery and his kidneys are working perfect. I can't express how grateful we are to have such a dedicated veterinarian. He called me every day and is STILL calling to check up on Nicco.
