God bless Dr. Burkard and the entire staff at Buffalo Feline Hospital for taking such good, gentle care of my sweet Simba until his time to cross the rainbow bridge arrived. I credit Dr. Burkard's experience, kindness, and support for extending the time he and I had together. Even amid her busy schedule, she went above and beyond for him to explain every test result, treatment plan, option, and much more. She is thorough and exceptionally qualified. Jun 27, 2025 · aria kovelEveryone was so kind and patient with me. I was so emotional and scared for my cat. The tech who answered my phone call was so understanding and amazing, she was able to squeeze me into the schedule and I was so thankful. Everyone, including the other clients present, were so patient and kind. The staff treated my cat with respect and were so gentle even when he got sassy. The staff also were able to work with me and my limited budget, while still going above and beyond to ensure my male kitty wasn't having a blockage. I am so thankful and glad I was able to find this amazing practice. What I appreciate the most is The staffs’ Kindness, patience, and compassion. I truly don't know what I would have done if I didn't call them, and I cannot recommend enough.
Jun 10, 2025 · Aileen RichardsonToday we had to very unexpectedly put down our cat, Shooter. We had an extremely negative vet experience previously at another office, and were nervous to go back to any vet at all, but had no choice. When we noticed something not right with our girl, they got her right in within 4 hours of us calling. My cat was extremely aggressive with any humans that are not ‘in her human group’. We explained her needs and aggression and Dr. Burkard & Annie the tech were both so amazing. They catered to her anxiety needs and didn’t even flinch at her hissing or aggression. And when it was time to say goodbye they were so kind, explained everything so well, and made sure everything was settled before we said goodbye so that we could simply leave when we were all done.I am so grateful for Dr. Burkard and Annie for getting us in so short notice and treating our girl with such respect in her final moments when we had not felt that much support with previous vets.
Aug 28, 2024 · Jordan BrooksAll clinicians and staff were so friendly and patient, especially considering the fact that we arrived without previous records. The doctor explained everything clearly was so caring with my two kitties.
