Carrboro Plaza Veterinary Clinic Reviews
I have used this practice since 2015 and for the care of 5 or 6 of my dogs, all rescues. The practice is consistently excellent from top to bottom. I appreciate that they are collaborative in their approach to care and do not rush to extensive diagnostic testing and treatment. I have my current favorite vet, Dr. Wheat, but honestly I think they are all great. In addition, I have had to have them help me take 3 of my beloved dogs through the process of “crossing the rainbow bridge.” They have been amazing each time. Caring, sensitive, and accessible. The pictures are of my current doggies.

May 16, 2025 · Erle SmithI can’t say enough good things about the team at Carrboro Plaza Veterinary Clinic. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a front desk staff who are not only kind and professional but genuinely compassionate. They go out of their way to make you and your pet feel welcome, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. Scheduling is always smooth, and they’re incredibly accommodating and responsive to questions or concerns. The veterinary staff is equally outstanding. Every doctor and technician I’ve encountered here has been knowledgeable, patient, and gentle. They take the time to explain diagnoses and treatments clearly and never rush through appointments. It’s obvious they truly care about their patients - not just medically, but emotionally too. My pets are treated like family, and that level of care means the world to me.Carrboro Plaza Veterinary Clinic is a rare gem—professional, warm, and deeply dedicated to both animals and their humans. I trust them completely and am grateful every day for the incredible care they provide.
May 20, 2025 · M RisslingMy dog, Lincoln, is a rescue and has notoriously been very scared at the vet. He had his first visit at Carrboro Plaza Vet Clinic recently and I couldn't be more grateful that we found them. Dr. Alyssa Wheat was so gentle and kind. He was able to complete the exam and get his Bordetella without any stress. The whole place was very clean and everyone was friendly.
Jun 27, 2025 · Kacey Clayton-StiglbauerThe Carrboro plaza team has been our vet for the last 10 years and are exceptional enough we kept returning after moving to Raleigh. We drove an hour each way to keep our dog in their care because of the love they gave her every time she walked in the door. Growing up all my dogs hated the vet but our dog would get in the car excited to go visit her favorite place. All the work is done in the room with a tech lovingly cuddling our girl and is able to help comfort her during the hard parts of her visit. Dr Randall has been with us since day one and we are eternally grateful she had not yet retired. Dr Cox helped us navigate the last 2 years of our dog getting old, losing mobility, and being in pain - helping keep her as young as possible. The countless hours spent sitting with us on the floor, calling us on the phone, and typing long emails to us did not go unnoticed and we are eternally grateful. Do not hesitate to bring your loved one here!
