Califon Animal Hospital Reviews
We have been receiving outstanding veterinary care for our pets at Califon Animal Hospital for 15 years. Recently our beloved dog Ella reached her end of life. We are grateful for everyone at Califon Animal Hospital for the compassion and comfort they provided her and us during this difficult time. Thank you Dr. Sal, Dr. Martin, Vet Tech Renee and the entire CAH team. We appreciate you!
Oct 20, 2024 · Ann WendlocherThis place is Extremely over priced. Every-time I have brought my pet there, my bill is between $2-300. I used to bring her to Glen Manor vet and my bill was less than half for the same treatment. Today, I was charged $100 just for the visit because I was told it was based on tiered pricing. This was not an emergency. I take her to the vet every few months, and I feel that I am being taken advantage of. I don’t feel the care there is any better than other places and have nerve charging these prices.
Jan 25, 2025 · Laura RosmanOur pets have always received loving care from this practice. Most recently our two new puppies! Dr. Sal is caring and takes time to remind us about puppies stages and overall health of the dogs. Highly recommend CAH!
Feb 20, 2024 · Lysa FritzMy 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog suddenly started vomiting repeatedly. I called Califon Animal Hospital and was told to bring her in immediately. Dr. MaryBeth determined that she had a blockage in her small intestine. Instead of operating immediately, since the puppy wasn’t in distress, she decided to see if the obstruction would move on its own. She gave her barium mixed with food. Nine hours later she expelled a 13 inch toy! I was so grateful that Drs. MaryBeth and Jeff both took the route of least resistance first and didn’t think surgery was the only option!!! I have been a client for over 20 years and trust their judgement completely.
Mar 03, 2021 · Karla DrummWe just moved to this area acouple months ago and ofcourse one of our dogs wasn't feeling well and I had to find a veterinarian close by. I called on a Saturday and told the receptionist the issue and she told me to bring my dog in for 10am. When I got there the office was super clean. Everyone that worked there was so friendly! We saw Dr. Martin and I can't say enough nice things about her. She is so compassionate and funny and puts you & your pet at ease. I am so thankful for her help! We found our new veterinarian!!! Thank you so much Dr.Martin and all the wonderful women that work there. You made a stressful visit extremely pleasant!👍❤❤ Karen &Gigi🐺
