PetVet Vaccination Clinic primarily focuses on providing essential preventative veterinary services for dogs and cats. Their service model is streamlined to be efficient and affordable, concentrating on the most crucial aspects of routine pet health maintenance.
Services Offered:
- Vaccinations: This is the cornerstone service of PetVet. They offer a range of crucial vaccinations for dogs and cats, protecting them against common and serious diseases. For dogs, this typically includes Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus (DAPP), Leptospirosis, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), and Lyme disease. For cats, common vaccinations include Rabies, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia (FVRCP), and Feline Leukemia (FeLV).
- Microchipping: A vital service for pet identification, microchipping significantly increases the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners. PetVet clinics routinely offer this service as an important part of responsible pet ownership.
- Parasite Prevention: While not always a full diagnostic service, PetVet clinics often provide or offer prescriptions for essential flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications, which are crucial for ongoing pet health. They may also conduct quick tests like heartworm tests.
- Fecal Testing: This service is commonly offered as part of preventative care to screen for common intestinal parasites that can affect pet health.
- Basic Wellness Checks (associated with vaccination visits): While not comprehensive physical exams typically performed at full-service hospitals, a brief assessment of your pet's general health may be conducted by the veterinarian prior to administering vaccines to ensure the pet is healthy enough for the procedure.
It is important for pet owners to understand that PetVet Vaccination Clinic is specifically designed for these preventative services. For more complex medical conditions, injuries, emergencies, or extensive diagnostic work-ups, a full-service veterinary hospital would be the appropriate choice. PetVet serves as an excellent complementary service for ongoing veterinary care, particularly for maintaining up-to-date vaccinations and fundamental preventative health measures.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This was an unorganized mess. They email you a few days before your appt. as well as a few hours before your appt. telling you to show up. No need to register. Bull****! We waited for 1/2 an hour before I finally went to the back of the store and asked the girl with the clipboard if I was supposed to register in the store. Yes, I was supposed to. Why did the emails tell me I didn’t need to register since I registered online? When she finally got my phone number, we waited another hour and went back to where the vaccination clinic was and the clipboard girl told me that she texted me at 5:15. No she didn’t! I got no text, email, wasted an hour and a half of my time. I showed up at 3:55 for a 4:00-5:30 clinic and my dog got her shots at 5:30. We were the very last customers of the day. Get your act together, this was a disaster.
