PetVet365 Pet Hospital Indianapolis / Eagle Creek Reviews
I am SO glad I brought my cat here! It's everything I'd hope and expect in a vet clinic. Not only was the exam room inviting and tailored to cats, but the staff was super nice, attentive, and true to their "fear free" policy. Even when my cat was being extra feisty, they took precautions and never once applied any force making my cat anymore nervous than she already was. I applaud the staff (Dr. Merckel and Lauren) big time for how they handled her, and they provided me with a solution for her next visit. I really hope my cat will warm up to them soon because I don't want to take her anywhere else! 😻
Jul 05, 2025 · Angela WilliamsWe are so GRATEFUL for Dr. Abernathy and her team! Our puppy, Lemon, was in rough shape with an intestinal blockage and they were able to get in same-day to handle the emergency and were more than prepared the next day to do surgery… fortunately Dr. Abernathy is really great at her job and at the morning x-ray, she was confident Lemon would not need surgery and would likely pass the obstruction naturally within the next 24 hours! God, we are so thankful she was right! Our first visit Lemon, had been throwing up on and off all week and was dehydrated and in quite a bit of pain, definitely not our fun loving puppy- they gave her nausea medication and a fluid pack under her skin and it helped her make it through the night. We are sure without this visit and without the initial treatment from Dr. Abernathy and her team, Lemon may not have handled much more without needed hydration and sugars. Lemon will get to make it to her 1st birthday in March and our pack is seriously so grateful she is a. going to be just fine b. is home and safe with us and that c. we didn’t lose our baby.It will definitely not be our last visit, may we need future medical assistance for any of our dogs and are we are feeling lucky to have found a vet clinic with a small town feel- but is full service with hospital capabilities, hard to find around here. We use to live in the Broad Ripple area and moved closer to Avon, their team use to carry around and baby our now deceased toy poodle anytime she was on-site, sending pictures of their adventures together… Lemon reminds us a lot of that dog and also garnered similar attention from Abernathy’s team! They were also kind enough to take on Lem’s travel bag with her home comforts like her bed. Lemon was babied just enough to feel comfortable while at the office without mom and dad, the updates from their team gave us peace of mind until we picked her up to go home!Lemon passed her obstruction this morning and will be getting the much needed rest and nutrition! The relief we are all feeling today is priceless!
