UrgentVet Introduce
For pet owners in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and the wider Sumner County area, the health and well-being of our animal companions are of the utmost importance. While a regular veterinarian is crucial for routine check-ups and preventative care, there are times when an unexpected illness or minor injury occurs outside of normal business hours. These moments can be stressful and often leave pet owners wondering where to turn. This is where a dedicated veterinary urgent care clinic becomes an invaluable community resource. UrgentVet in Hendersonville is designed to fill this critical gap, providing a much-needed option for care when a full-service emergency hospital might be too much, but waiting until the next business day is not an option.
The concept of veterinary urgent care is a relatively new but welcome addition to the pet healthcare landscape. It offers a middle ground between the typical daytime vet clinic and the often costly, full-scale emergency room. For local residents, this means having a reliable place to go for things like a sudden limp, an ear infection, or an upset stomach that happens on a Saturday night or a holiday. This service provides peace of mind, knowing that if your pet is "just not right" after your regular vet has closed, there's a professional and compassionate team ready to help. This article will provide a detailed look at UrgentVet, helping local Tennessee pet owners understand its purpose, services, and accessibility.

UrgentVet Reviews
Our sweet pooch hurt his leg a couple of weeks ago. We had no idea what happened but assumed the worst. It got to the point we could physically see the pain and he just wasn't himself. We brought him to the UrgentVet as we have not had an established vet to go to. It really wasn't that long of a wait, maybe there a whole hour. The doctors are very caring and thorough. They explained the issue and the solution. I was terrified it would be expensive, but it was a very cost effective. The office is very clean and organized. I genuinely appreciate their time and care.
Jun 24, 2025 · Caitlin CaseyWe took our small pup in with a severely damaged front toe and toenail. The vet and the techs were very caring and gentle. They completely fixed her damaged foot. You definitely pay more attention to urgent care, but our pup could have easily developed sepsis if we had waited a day until our regular vet was open. I highly recommend this urgent care .
Jul 01, 2025 · Kim BreedingTook my dog in around 8:45 pm bc he was not acting himself, ended up having pneumonia. The staff were very kind and helpful. So thankful for a vet office that is open after 4 or 5 and not necessarily an emergency vet prices! Definitely recommend and would use them again. Thanks so much for helping get my Liam back to himself! My only downside was we were there a long time but they were very busy and seemed to be very sympathetic about it.
Apr 06, 2025 · Erin AngleaEven though it was a long drive for me from Watertown, Tennessee and back, I appreciate the vet and the staff that waited on me and helped my little 5 lb copper Chihuahua. He's on heart medication for congestive heart failure. My vet closed early and I did not realize it was my fault. I know, but they closed Friday for Mother's Day and they won't re-up until Monday. I didn't want him to go without one of his medications for 2 and 1/2 days so I drove there and they helped me. Yes, it is expensive for me, but it's worth it when you're trying to help an animal, just like a person. If you're on heart medication you do or not, it's not a good idea to go without it. So and they were all so kind to me. The vet was awesome. He is amazing with animals. He has a real gift. I forgot his name. I'm sorry, I think it starts with an h and the staff was wonderful + I would recommend anybody that has an animal that needs treatment to go there. Just be prepared for a drive if you're far away. Thank you so much for helping my little fella. I hope you all have a blessed Mother's day!
May 12, 2025 · Tonya CrookMy cat was vomiting all day. They were very kind and took good care of him. We didn't have to wait very long and it is close to home. He is feeling better now.
