★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have seen Dr. Mulch, Dr. Aubrey, and Dr.Wood and never a bad thing to say. They all listen throughly to my concerns and make sure I leave feeling confident in what we discussed. Mulch is also an animal chiropractor and my dogs thank him for always having their backs!!! 🤪 I also can not thank the Vet Techs here enough for always going above and beyond for my babies. They are truly unmatched.
May 03 · Caitlyn RathI've been to quite a few different exotic vets before coming to Whitehaven and seeing Dr. Snyder for my rat girls. The thing about rats and rodents as a whole is they live pretty short lives and so end of life care is something that comes up pretty quickly and this seems to be something understood when determining the best course of action when I come here. Dr.Snyder and the vet techs I've had, notably Caitlin and Brooke, have been great each time I've come in especially this last time which was unfortunately a euthanasia. It was probably the easiest one I've had to go through with one of my girls just because of how sweet all the staff were and how they conduct the procedure here vs other vets. It was comforting to be able to hold her as she fell asleep vs being apart for the entire procedure as many exotic vets' policy is.Anyways, prices are decent especially for exotic animal care, staff are always in good spirits and sensitive including reception both in person and over the phone. And Dr Snyder is always willing to discuss different options and risks associated with them when I ask. Very nice vet.(Pictures included is the clay paw prints they made for me. It seems like a small thing but seeing the care that Caitlin put into making this for me and my girl Sugar on a hard day meant a lot).
April 18 · Emma MoonThey're absolutely amazing for my three ferrets. Dr. Snyder really knows what she's doing and I definitely recommend her if you have ferrets.
August 07 · AngelEveryone was caring and professional. My very large 100% indoor cat who is always calm and loving (and who I inherited from my previous daughter who died)but not having been in a carrier for almost three years was very unhappy and sounded like he could seriously hurt anyone; the vet and her assistant gently warned me that they’d attempt to examine him but may not be successful. The exam was quicker than usual but sufficient to know he’s healthy and they were able to vaccinate as well, and once in the carrier my Momo was back to his normal darling self. I thought he’d hate me but the moment we got home he was sweet and loving as usual. They warned me he may be sore and wanting solitude but NOPE, he showed no discomfort and I think he wanted to say “I forgive you and thank you for keeping me healthy” Also because of his size and weight and my 80 years and petite stature they carried him to my car. Great job Whitehaven!
July 18 · Lina SchlegelI can not thank these kind, hardworking, individuals here enough. My baby, flop, ate a large amount of sewing thread. She showed no other symptoms other than some puke and tiredness. After a few tests, things seemed inconclusive. Flop declined so we took her back the next day. The doctor found that she had string tied around her tongueand immediately went into emergency surgery. The surgery had many complications and this team stayed till 10pm to make sure she was properly taken care of. Whitehaven has been our go to for years. This will never change. They truly treat your animal like it is their own. THANK YOU!!! I don’t know what else to say. I love all of you❤️
