Aquarium City Reviews
Just left out the store spending $60 worth and got nothing but dry I don’t really feel like helping you attitudes. Goodness … way to make sure I never come back. Noted!Part 2: Just left out for the second time because one of the snails I got earlier was not as active as his siblings. So reading your response to my review, I’m sorry you missed where my “bad experience” came from, cause it had nothing to do with me not having a filter. When I entered the store, no greeting…. Fine not a problem I get it ppl are busy, but then as I’m walking around several employees sprinting past me like I had the plague or something… I could understand 1 or 2 but I must’ve had like 4 ppl pass me by before one finally decided to ask me if I found everything ok. … I got my 4 snails, my plants and got outta there. Now this second visit…. Wish I would’ve ran into Jason the first time time…. Completely upbeat, friendly, helpful and informative…. I took NO ISSUE with him or anyone else offering constructive criticism if that’s what it was about me not having a filter. Just would’ve appreciated being welcomed or talked to without an I don’t really feel like dealing with you type of demeanor . I’ll change my star rating from 1 to 4 … 1 because I appreciate you taking time out to respond to my comment and 2 for Jason.
Jun 30, 2025 · Sade DavisThe only reason I am giving this store a 3 star is because of the selection and setup of the store. Be aware of the customer service, though. The reviews don't lie, especially since some reviews mention a particular employee who seems to think that when you ask a question, you automatically know nothing. I was in the store a few days ago. Taken back by how much stock they had. I noticed they had some ghost knifefish in stock and was interested in buying one. So I go to ask this one employee how old their ghost knives are and what they have been feeding them, and he literally gave me sass. Acting as I know nothing about the fish. I know that since I am on the younger side, I might look like I am just some kid wanting a cool fish without doing research. But when I told him the setup I had, he changed his whole attitude. Other than that one employee, the rest of them are actually pretty helpful. One employee did give me helpful information. I will probably visit again, although I would recommend other places.
Mar 13, 2025 · IMAX ARVIZUOutstanding experience, Kiarash provided excellent service & information! Ask for him!The store has nice quality Discus & other rare species. Tank maintenace is great; not a single fish with ich or notable parasites. Awesome assortment of aquarium medication.
Jun 24, 2025 · Nicholas NilanduwaBeen here twice and both experiences have been absolutely wonderful and I'm so appreciative of the customer service I recieved..First visit I inquired about aquatic turtles and was informed that two red cheek mud turtles were available.. I picked up one of the two fully grown adult female turtles and was knowledged about basic care.. Had her for about a week and absolutely loved her! Perfect turtle in great health settled in nicely in her new homeAbout a week goes by and I decided I wanted to grab the second fully grown adult female red cheek mud turtle so they wouldn't be apart and keep each other company. However with the traffic yesterday I wasn't able to make it to the store during their normal business hours (was about 12 minutes late after they had closed)But I'd like to give a huge shout out to the owner Sean, as he was still in the parking lot with some of his employees I kindly told him my situation and that I had bought the first turtle from them a week ago..He went above and beyond and told me he'd open up shop after he had just closed everything down so that I'd be able to buy the second turtle (after hours) super cool dude, and his staff are absolutely great too!!!Thank you again for taking care of me!! Service like what I experienced is rare nowadays..Aquarium City is farther away than a few tropical fish stores near to where I live.. But I don't mind driving a little bit farther to bring my business here!! Definitely recommend checking this place out they have an awesome store..Will definitely return soon!
Sep 16, 2024 · Victor Angelo LapazAmazing store full of all sorts of fish both saltwater and freshwater. Beautiful tanks and aquariums of all sorts and their plant variety is beyond me! Many tank supplies, plant and fish supplies/nutrients items and things for turtles too. Their prices are also supper reasonable. Just moved to the Valley from LA and by far the best fish store I've found. Would totally recommend for any level aquarium owner as their staff is more than willing to help and super friendly!
