113 Equine Introduce
For horse owners and breeders across Texas, finding a veterinary practice that combines deep expertise with genuine care is essential. The health of a horse, whether it's a performance animal or a cherished companion, requires a level of specialized knowledge that only dedicated equine professionals can provide. In Millsap, Texas, 113 Equine stands as a premier veterinary clinic focused exclusively on the well-being of horses. This practice is renowned for its state-of-the-art facility, kind and knowledgeable staff, and a commitment to providing honest, top-tier care. It's the kind of place where Texas horsemen and women can feel confident that their animals are receiving the very best treatment.
The philosophy at 113 Equine is built on a foundation of professional integrity and compassionate service. This is clearly reflected in the reviews from clients who have experienced their care firsthand. One client, whose mare was at the facility for a lameness exam and embryo transfer, praised the staff's kindness and patience in answering all of her questions. She noted that this was a refreshing experience compared to other large equine practices. This focus on client education and communication is a hallmark of their service, ensuring that horse owners are always in the loop and feel comfortable with the decisions being made for their animals.
What truly sets 113 Equine apart is the honesty and ethical approach of its veterinarians, particularly Dr. Skeet Gibson. One review highlights a remarkable instance where Dr. Gibson advised a client that an ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) procedure would be a better option for her mare, despite his clinic not offering that specific service. The client was deeply appreciative that he didn't "drain bank account" by continuing with a less-likely procedure. He not only provided a direct and honest recommendation but also assisted in arranging the appointment and logistics with another facility. This level of integrity is invaluable in a veterinary practice and speaks volumes about their commitment to the horse's best interest, not just their bottom line. For Texans who value a trustworthy and transparent partnership with their equine vet, 113 Equine is a standout choice.

113 Equine is set apart from other clinics by several key highlights that make it a premier destination for equine care in Texas.
Specialized Expertise: The clinic's specialization in equine medicine, particularly in advanced reproductive technologies and lameness, ensures that horse owners are receiving care from experts in the field. This focus allows them to provide a higher level of knowledge and skill.

This level of integrity builds immense trust with clients and shows a genuine commitment to the horse's well-being above all else.
Compassionate and Kind Staff: Customer reviews repeatedly mention the kindness and compassion of the entire staff. This is especially important for animals who may be stressed or uncomfortable during a visit, and for owners who are dealing with difficult situations.
Clean and Well-Maintained Facility: The clinic's environment is described as "very clean" and "well-maintained," which is crucial for preventing infections and ensuring the comfort and safety of the horses in their care.
Attention to Detail: The small but meaningful gestures, like having a horse's supplements and items ready for pickup, demonstrate a high level of customer service and attention to detail that clients greatly appreciate.

113 Equine Reviews
Very clean, well-maintained facility with kind staff. My mare was there for a little over a month for a lameness exam and embryo transfer. They very kindly trimmed her feet (which is a CHORE) and although we were unlucky in getting an embryo for transfer, everyone answered my questions with kindness, which I have not experienced at other large equine practices.I especially appreciate Dr. Gibson telling me that ICSI would be the best route for my mare despite them not offering the service. The fact that he flat out said that he could keep trying transfer but didn't see it being successful instead of draining my bank account speaks absolute volumes. They also set up my ICSI appointment and took care of all the logistics for me.Also, when my parents came to pick up my mare, they had all of her items and supplements waiting--just a nice customer service thing that was very appreciated. Although unlucky this time, I have no doubt that my mare was given the very best care and consideration while there.

July 08 · Veronica Flores113 Equine might be a good option for lameness exams etc., but I would not recommend calling this business for an emergency of any sort. I called on a Tuesday night with a mare who recently foaled out two weeks ago. The mare had a 104.1 degree fever and was behaving as if she was having a bout of colic for two days. They took all of my information, only to say they aren't close but will call another vet associated with the clinic. The woman at 113 Equine then called me back to say that there was not a vet available, including Dr Gibson. Why take the time to have an emergency line to answer and then tell you to go elsewhere? Just seems very unprofessional. Very glad there was another vet within a few miles, to take my mare in with her foal.
June 30 · Chloe JohnsExcellent care of our broodmares, they work super hard to make breeding as painless as they can! Thanks Taylor for keeping everything straight, George for all the help with mares and Skeet for getting these girls in foal
