★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great vets. They have been our pup 🐶 vet for the last three years and we have no complaints. As much as going to the vet makes our pup anxious, the staff has been very patient with him and they make him feel right at home! Thanks to our plan for our pup, getting his travel documents and appointments are free.
December 01 · Ms. MercyWe had a last-minute emergency with our dog. We brought her, and she was cared for with so much love and patience. The doctor was great explaining everything to me. My kids were very happy because they had a little library filled with children's books (some of them were vet related, which I thought was cute!)
April 23 · Sorimar SantiagoWas told the price of $167 for total costs on an exam, shots, nail trim, and ear cleaning on the phone. When my boyfriend went to pick up my cat the total cost $221.84. It is literally 73.16 to get your cats nails and ears cleaned. What a scam. Will not be going here again.
August 17 · Ashley LeBarronEllie’s first visit today went great! The staff were very friendly and caring to her. Dr. Anderson did an exam, her and her team were great. They helped me schedule out her appointments after and printed my summary ( I knew I’d forget) so that was helpful to me. Thanks again, ladies!
July 15 · Alysia DavisThis review will probably be deleted, but I will continue posting here & the BBB (where they are NOT accredited btw & have a 1.14 star rating unlike the 3.9 here) to ensure that real animal lovers avoid this scam.We have been with Banfield since Summer 2020 for our Golden Retriever. We've had a few instances with their services already where we were unhappy, but this last one was my final straw. I noticed his lymphnodes were swollen early March, so we got him in for an appointment (they are still doing drop-off only appointments). A few hours after dropping him off, I got a call from the vet saying she was not trying to scare me, but we need to move forward with testing. She told me results come back quickly, usually about a day but it may take one more day since this was a Sunday we brought him in. Totally understandable. I called on Tuesday & the receptionist was very kind, looked in every system and said they were not in but should be very soon. Anxiety was high, so I called late afternoon Wednesday. This time, the person who answered said they were still pending review, but technically the vet he saw was only filling in and no one would be checking his file without reason to. I said I was not told this, she then went and asked around, came back and said that she's asked someone else to keep an eye on his records. About an hour later, Dr. A******* called me back to tell me it looks like lymphoma. Obviously, I'm very frustrated. I explained that I was disappointed in their clinic for how they've handled this, explained what the receptionist told me earlier that day, and her response? "I'm very sorry but these results can sometimes take 7-10 days." Yet again, going back on what I was told multiple times at this point. Thankfully she took my anger very seriously and sent his oncology referrals to two places immediately.I thought I was done being upset with Banfield, until his oncologist had to send his prescription to Banfield to fill. This was before noon, and he assured me that he would make a note for them to call me as soon as they received it and as soon as it was ready, should only take about 30 minutes for steroids and nausea meds. I waited for more than 3 hours, so I decided to give Banfield a call myself. The receptionist put me on hold to "check the fax machine". Five minutes later she comes back, it's been in their email all day. Not only that, but "I spoke with some of the vets that are on-site today, and they will have to give you a call back after they review his records. Since none of the vets on-site today have seen him, they're not comfortable filling these." I'm sorry, what? I said you have got to be kidding me, can I speak with one of them myself? She puts me on another 5-minute hold, comes back and says no one is available to talk with me, but they'll be ready to pick up in 30 minutes. I asked if I could get a call when they're done, she said I can just come pick them up. I said great, can I get a call when they're done. She argues back, "Why do you need a call back if you're coming to get them?" I said so I know they're done. She agrees, we hang up. I get off work 45 minutes later and show up around 5:20. Two people up at the front, twiddling their thumbs. When one of them heard I was picking up his prescriptions and also heard they STILL WERENT FILLED, she says "Well I'm not doing anything I'll go do it." Since then, I've made it my goal to inform everyone to save their time, their energy, and their money from this scam of a service. Since going elsewhere, prices are no where near as high as Banfield makes them seem in my opinion. To make matters worse, at his first oncology appointment, they asked us how aggressive our dog was because Banfield put him as being "at risk" to others. At no time during our time at Banfield did anyone ever contact us about our dogs "agression".TLDR: go to someone local that actually cares and save money in the long run
