Glen Mills Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Request for Clarification and Refund of Unexpected ChargesI want to begin by thanking you and your team for the care and attention you provided to my dog during his recent stay. I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the doctors and staff. However, I am writing to seek clarification regarding some unexpected charges on my final bill. When I booked boarding, I was informed the cost would be $75 per day plus a $90 exam fee, which I agreed to. At that time, I also explained that my dog has epilepsy, is on new medication that may take a few weeks to take effect, and that he might experience seizures during his stay.During his boarding, he did have two seizures, and medication was administered accordingly. However, I was surprised to see an additional $40 charge labeled “boarding exam” on the final bill. This fee was never disclosed or discussed with me before or during the stay. Since we already paid a $90 boarding exam fee at the time of boarding, I kindly request a refund for the $40 charge. At no time was I told any additional exams for any reason would be done during his stay.Additionally, some of my dog’s belongings—specifically two food bowls and his pill pockets—were not returned to me.I value the care your team provided and hope these concerns can be addressed promptly. I would also appreciate greater transparency regarding any potential additional charges in the future to avoid confusion.Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.Best regards, Maria (owner of Winston )
Jun 26, 2025 · Maria SantoryGlen Mills Vet has been our go to vet since we adopted our dog, Nora, 4 years ago. We were new to dog ownership and they are consistently helpful and kind during every visit.
Jan 30, 2025 · Claire BunnI couldn't have wished for a more better experience. Dr. Parker and staff help to treat our pet rat Ben. They were so kind, compassionate and understanding. Dr. Parker is knowledgeable and tried everything to help him, but unfortunately he did not make it. They sent a sweet card in the mail that was really thoughtful and signed by staff. Everyone we encountered from the receptionists, techs and doctor was great. We really appreciate them all. Thank you.
Nov 07, 2024 · Laura DiGuglielmoThe wait to be seen constantly runs 30 to 90 minutes after the appointment time. I came 8 minutes late because I thought I might decrease my wait and my appointment time was bumped to later . At least half the docs are very good and the vet techs are generally great. Unfortunately when my dog had an emergency, they said that they couldn’t find space in the schedule and told me to go to another place. They did however let me know that the doctor felt that my dog really needed to be seen.
Mar 20, 2025 · Sarah TFelt like they upsold us on everything. Mentioned cancer over and over but the swelling came on too fast to be cancer. Sold us medication (didn't offer a prescription, overcharged us for the medication on location instead) Went somewhere else and turned out to be a spider bite.....
