- Dedicated and Responsive Team: As highlighted by one client's experience with their dog, Mango, the team, including Dr. Greenberger, demonstrated responsiveness and support during a difficult diagnosis. They quickly arranged rechecks, clearly explained complex diagnoses like hemangiosarcoma, and provided after-hours support. This level of dedication is appreciated during challenging times.
- Professional and Kind Staff: Multiple interactions mentioned by clients suggest a general tone of professionalism and kindness from the entire staff. For example, during Mango’s difficult diagnosis, the team was described as "kind, responsive, and professional," providing comfort to the pet owners.
- Support for Complex Cases: The hospital's handling of Mango's hemangiosarcoma diagnosis, including guiding the owners through options and providing ongoing support, indicates their capacity to manage serious and complex medical conditions.
- Claimed Fear-Free Approach: The hospital explicitly states on its website and to clients that they are a "fear-free practice" and believe in "taking the stress out of vet visits, as well as out of the home and life." This commitment aims to alleviate anxiety for pets during their appointments.
- Focus on Education: Dr. Williamson, a veterinarian at the hospital, is "deeply committed to educating pet owners on the importance of preventative care and addressing the special needs of senior pets." This focus on client education can empower owners to make informed decisions for their pets.
It is worth noting that while the hospital states it is a "fear-free practice," one review expressed a contrasting experience, indicating that certain restraint methods and interpretations of "fear-free" protocols, such as using peanut butter as a primary calming agent, led to increased stress and physical discomfort for their dogs. This suggests that individual pet reactions and owner expectations regarding "fear-free" techniques can vary, and direct communication about specific concerns may be beneficial.

Mar 24, 2025 · Addison ShiThis veterinarian was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. I am new to the area. When I scheduled my new patient appointments for my dogs I told them that one dog was reactive and the other is fearful. They assured me that they were a fear-free practice and that my dogs would be absolutely fine. At the actual appointment, I discovered that their quote unquote fear-free care is overdosing my dogs on plain Skippy peanut butter. Not only that, but their restraint methods stressed my dogs out. One of my dogs limped for two weeks after this vet appointment and the other one I can tell was absolutely terrified, with full whale eyes while she was there. I should have never gone back, but I did because I had an appointment for their boosters today. I got there and was informed that I was late for my appointments and they didn't have a room for me. I told them that my appointment was scheduled for 4:00 and they said that it was for 3:40 and 3:50. That is not what I had saved in my phone and they never called me to confirm. I even checked my phone to make sure that I had not missed a call from them recently and the last time I received a call from them was March 21st. I was not hostile or rude; I was simply irritated that there was a scheduling miscommunication and I was not contacted. Furthermore I arrived there at 3:48 because that's the time stamp on my phone call to let them know that I was there and in the parking lot. So I was only 8 minutes late for one appointment and still early for one and they told me they didn't have rooms available. They kicked me out. I was going to have about $3,000 worth of dental surgery done there for one of my dogs and now I'm going to have it done somewhere else, because I will not go somewhere where I am treated like an idiot and I will not go somewhere where my dogs are treated poorly.
