Ludlow Animal Clinic, P.C. Reviews
Horrible experience with this new vet. Not only was she rude to me but my cat. We use to go here all the time for my dog, the vet was so sweet. The new vet not only did she said my cat might not make it if I don’t get this shot. She was trying for us to get a shot for her: leukemia. Very rude always tried to argue. Why wasn’t she wearing gloves either??? She’s short hair with glasses not the best may I say. If you want to argue with a teenager I suggest this job isn’t for u.

Feb 26, 2025 · Kristy ShowalterUpdate and edit:Please read the whole thing or skip to the bottom where the edit is or just understand that I love my pets and this place is a dumpster fire.---------I brought my cat there a year ago. She had a wheeze and a cough and she drooled some. She also is a rescue and had some jaw and nose damage from a dog attack. She always seemed to be in pain and yelp when she chewed on something hard wrong. They said she was fine and sent us home.A few weeks ago she was in some serious trouble so I took her to a hospital. They fixed her up, gave me 2 weeks of antibiotics. Now she barely wheezes, stopped drooling, lost the cough, she even lost the extra pain in her jaw and I can pet her under the chin normally. She's happier and plays more.Long story short, I'm pretty sure she had sinus infection for A YEAR because these people neglect pets and as I get my yearly check up mail I assure you I'm never wasting my money at this garbage vet every again.-------------Edit and Update:She had rotted out teeth that were a huge cause of the problem. The pain hadn't recessed as much as I originally thought so I took HER TO A REAL VET.I had previously told Ludlow Animal Hospital that I thought she was 2 when I adopted her and brought her for her first appointment. I told them about her jaw problems and they handed her back to me, told me she was fine with no obvious pain.I took her to A REAL VET and they ACTUALLY TAKE A LOOK AT HER TEETH and notice that the back 2 are rotting out and that she has way too much plaque buildup to be 2 years old. Turns out she's like 15 probably because she also had super advanced congenital heart disease with a heart 3 times the size of normal. It was bigger than her head it was a pretty amazing X-ray to see.She lived the next year of her life in as little pain as we could afford to provide for her. She died a few weeks ago as I'm writing this. But when the wheeze got really bad and she stopped moving around as much I called this garbage doctor one last time and asked them if they could take a look at her because they are so much closer to me than the REAL VETS WHO CARE ABOUT ANIMALS.The see you next Tuesday who answered the phone was quick to chastise me for missing my vaccine updates a few months prior and in my frustration I told her that I was still upset about when the other times they misdiagnosed her and then she quickly said,"Then why don't you find a new vet?"And hung up on me instantly. I was absolutely stunned. With the amount of money my love of animals has caused me to spend at this place even in the 3 or 4 years I went there with various pets sometimes not even mine? With my beautiful cat literally dying because she can't breathe and just needs some oxygen and maybe some antibiotics? Please believe me when I tell you to use this place only if you're trying to pretend to care about the animal for someone else's benefit. No animal I care about will ever walk through those doors again.
Oct 07, 2023 · Jaykles JayklesEveryone here was unbelievably friendly! They were all so nice to my dog even tho she was really nervous. The person on the phone who helped me make the appointment was super helpful and knowledgeable. They also called me a couple days later when they had a cancellation to see if I wanted to move my appointment sooner since we needed a refill on her medicine which I appreciate immensely. Can’t recommend this place enough!
