Davidson Animal Hospital Reviews
So I went to Davisson Animal Hospital May 19 2025. Mr Hedrick was great! He does so good with my pets…BUT ON THE OTHER HAND..his teammates are rude,Disrespectful,Disgusting!,and they aren’t gentle! I brought my guinea pig Acorn there and did I mention, THE wait WAS SUPPER LONG it turns out the girls was just talking and off duty! I waited for exactly 1hr and 45 minutes. So when I finally got back there the girls came to me and they started writing down his symptoms BUT THEN THIS ONE GIRL …Came outta nowhere? And snatched my baby up.she literally just grabbed him and started holding him? So that drove me nuts. But after the lady got his Symptoms wrote down, she left and I guess she put it in the computer But it seemed like it took another hour for her To put it in the computer! So I was stressing Mom was in the car waiting and she has To go to work, but the ladies were just going super Time which pissed me off… So they finally got Dr. Hedrick to come and he did his magic Was super good he did everything he could get my guinea pig in He diagnosed Him with ear mites, and he gave me Good medicine but his helper…she was THE WORST!!!!!! She was verryyy heavy handed and put all her hand wait on my baby mr. Hedrick had to correct her About five times !! But end of story my baby’s feeling better! But I guess since he was super tiny, he only came Up to $10… But he also Fleas I think because these black bugs kept coming out But other than that, Dr.Hedrick was perfect… But he needs to fix the staff people who actually love Who take care of them… (But I believe he’s using people who are learning to be veterinarians so they are like..in their 20’s)
May 20, 2025 · Sabrina GregoryWe can not even begin to describe the love, care and compassion that Dr. Hedrick & his staff show us & most importantly our fur babies. We drive from the coast to keep him as our veterinarian. When he is with you, he does not rush and gives our babies time attention and excellent care. If you want a doctor who is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in detail to ensure you understand, the there is NO one better. We truly feel blessed that he is our babies doctor.
May 19, 2025 · J&M LasterOn Saturday morning, May 10th, my son's pocket bully went into labor. The vet in Shelby that he had been taking her to was closed with a sign on the door. We found North Davidson, and they said bring her now. We lost one puppy, but so thankful, that they were able to perform an emergency c-section to save 5 of her puppies. They are 6 weeks old and doing great.
Jun 24, 2025 · Sharon PutnamSuch friendly staff. Moved here from a bigger city and love that the place is more old school. Took my dog in to have some things looked at and to get him scheduled for a later date like most places do, but the vet was able to do surgery same day. I am so happy to have a vet for my fur babies that I feel does not see my animal as a number but a family member. Thank you to everyone at this sweet clinic.
Mar 22, 2025 · TabathaI have went to Dr. Hedrick for over 15 years and he has done a wonderful job on all of my animals. His Staff on the other hand, or 1 in particular is very unprofessional and very inconsiderate of peoples feelings. I called up there the other day to have them to check one of my dogs out because she had just all of a sudden started having trouble walking and it was getting worse and she was crying out and I called the vet crying my eyes out telling them what was going on and I was afraid I might have to get her euthanized because she seemed to be in pain. I already had a surgery set up for her sister in 2 days and all she was worried about was to let me know I needed to make a deposit on her sisters surgery. I told the lady that this call had nothing to do with the other dog it was for her sister. She then told me that I should go to Salisbury Animal Hospital because they take walk ins and that they were more affordable. I said excuse me? You’re telling me to take my dog to another vet and I’m upset thinking I might have to get her put to sleep. And I know for a fact that they take walk ins especially when it’s an emergency like I had. I’ve had to wait hours before up there because they had emergencies come in. The last time I was there was about a month ago and I had an appointment and still waited almost 3 1/2 hours and when I finally got in there, they said oh, we forgot you were out there. Do today was the day that my dogs surgery was scheduled for and I call up there making sure I didn’t need to drop her off at a certain time and this same woman got on the phone and tells me she cancelled my dogs surgery because I hung up on her when she was so rude to me 2 days before but I was gonna keep my appointment. Needless to say, I’ll never go back and I have a new vet. When all they are interested in is money, that’s when I know it’s time to go elsewhere.
