Feline Medical Clinic Introduce
For Washington cat owners, finding a veterinarian who truly understands the unique needs and behaviors of felines is a game-changer. The Feline Medical Clinic in Vancouver, Washington, is precisely that place. As a veterinary hospital dedicated exclusively to cats, they provide a calm, dog-free environment that helps reduce the stress and anxiety often associated with vet visits. Their team of doctors and staff is not only expertly trained in veterinary medicine but also deeply knowledgeable about feline-specific health issues and behaviors. This specialization allows them to offer a higher level of tailored care, from routine check-ups to complex medical and surgical procedures.
The philosophy behind the Feline Medical Clinic is rooted in the understanding that cats are not simply small dogs. Their physical and emotional needs are distinct, and a one-size-fits-all approach to veterinary care can be detrimental. This clinic's entire facility, from the waiting area to the examination rooms, is designed with the feline patient in mind. They utilize low-stress handling techniques, minimizing the use of force and instead relying on patience, a gentle touch, and an understanding of feline psychology. This focus on creating a comfortable experience is not just about making a visit easier; it directly impacts a cat's health, as stress can worsen existing conditions and make diagnosis more difficult.
Beyond the welcoming environment, the clinic's dedication to cats is reflected in its comprehensive range of services. They offer everything from preventive wellness exams and vaccinations to advanced diagnostics like digital radiographs and ultrasound, all tailored for their feline patients. This specialization extends to dental care, which is particularly crucial for cats, as oral diseases are common and can have a significant impact on their overall health. The Feline Medical Clinic also provides more advanced services like surgery and urgent care during normal business hours, ensuring that they can be a trusted partner for a cat’s entire life, from kittenhood to their senior years.
The Feline Medical Clinic is located at 5801 NE 105th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98662, USA. This address places them in a convenient area of Vancouver, making them a go-to resource for cat owners throughout the city and surrounding communities in Washington. The clinic is easy to find, and its location is well-suited for both scheduled appointments and urgent care needs during business hours.
The facility is highly accessible, a key feature for any pet owner. It provides a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. These features ensure that all clients can access the clinic comfortably and with ease. The clinic also offers ample on-site and free parking. For pet owners, the availability of curbside service is another important feature, especially for a cat who may be particularly anxious about the travel and hospital environment. The clinic operates on an appointment-required basis, which allows them to manage patient flow and ensure each cat receives the dedicated time and attention it needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The absolute best Vet I have ever been to. I know that my cats are getting the best cat specific care, and the staff have always been amazing! From regular check ups to emergency situations with both my elderly and young cats they have always gone above and beyond to make sure my babies are taken care of. I love that they are so transparent with their quotes and are very affordable compared to other vets in the area. One of our cats needed an eye removal surgery that we had done at the specialty animal eye clinic, and the Feline Medical Clinic was so helpful with coordinating and cooperating so we could get the best care, and not have to take our cat so far for some initial blood work before the surgery. They are so friendly and know our babies by name now too. (Farry and Fey say thank you!) Definitely the only vet I'll take my cats to.
August 15 · Kathryn McCallMy cats have been patients at FMC for many years. Their staff and vets are compassionate and care about cats. The services they offer have evolved over the years and also depend on staff hired for specialty. We recently had to put a very sick kitty down. Consideration for us and our cat were supreme. Yes, money is always involved but they were great at taking care of business process first so we could just focus on saying goodbye. The entire process was explained and we were with our cat the entire time. Even given one on one as she was falling asleep and could hear us. They are so gentle and always try to be mindful of destressing the cats during check ups. I truly appreciate them.
August 20 · K HodgeI saw Dr. Schendel with my sweet little cat. He tends to be on the shy side, but did amazing with her. She took her time, gave him lots of treats and let him warm up to her. I was so impressed and happy with the care that my cat received. I will definitely be coming back and recommending everyone I know with a cat to go see her! If you were questioning where to take you cat, it should be here.
July 10 · Makayla WallaceIf you have a cat you should be bringing them here! I have a spicy cat who does not so well for any vet visit. However he did amazing at today’s visit. With the patience from Dr.Schendel he got all his vaccines and exam without any issues. She let him adjust to his environment and fed him snacks while he did so. The entire staff was so polite! I can’t wait to recommend her to others and to continue to have her as my primary veterinarian!
July 11 · Sierra MoranThey did sell recently but the previous owner still practices here. Her, the receptionist, and the vet techs we saw at our appointment with our fur baby were all phenomenal. I put a lot of time and stress into finding a new vet that made us feel seen and also cared for without being overly clinical and this place was exactly that. Everybody was extremely personable and I could feel that they actually cared about my baby. They weren't critical about issues but informative, and they were happy to answer all of my questions. Thank you 💚
