Fetch the Vet Introduce
In a state as vast and varied as Minnesota, convenience and personalized care are paramount for pet owners. Fetch the Vet offers a unique and highly beneficial solution to traditional veterinary care by bringing their professional services directly to your doorstep. This is not a traditional brick-and-mortar clinic; it's a mobile veterinarian service designed to provide a stress-free and convenient experience for both pets and their owners. By eliminating the need for travel and the anxiety that can come with a clinic visit, Fetch the Vet focuses on providing a calm and comfortable environment for every appointment. This approach is particularly valuable for animals who get anxious in new settings, for owners with multiple pets, or for those with mobility issues.
The philosophy behind Fetch the Vet is centered on building a strong, personal relationship with clients and their animals. The team understands that the most effective care is often delivered in a familiar environment where the pet feels safe and secure. As one customer raved, the experience with Jane, a key professional on the team, was "absolutely wonderful," highlighting her ability to "put our dog at ease" and how "all our animals loved her." This level of personal connection and professional knowledge is a hallmark of the service they provide. They are dedicated to not only treating illnesses but also to educating pet owners and partnering with them to ensure long-term wellness.
The professional who comes to your home is not just a technician, but a knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian who takes the time to get to know your pet and their specific needs. This personalized attention allows for a more thorough examination and a better understanding of a pet’s lifestyle, which is crucial for developing an effective health plan. For the pet-loving community of Minnesota, where busy schedules and a desire for high-quality, personal service are common, Fetch the Vet is an innovative and highly practical solution for all routine and preventative veterinary needs.
As a mobile veterinary service, Fetch the Vet has a unique approach to its location and accessibility. While their business address is PO Box 165, Cologne, MN 55322, USA, their primary "location" is your home. This model is inherently designed for maximum accessibility and convenience. The service area is typically focused on Cologne and the surrounding communities, bringing expert veterinary care to a wide range of clients in the Minnesota region. For those with physical limitations, multiple pets, or those who simply value the comfort of their home, this service eliminates the challenges of transportation and navigating a traditional clinic.
Fetch the Vet operates on an appointments recommended basis, which is essential for a service that travels to its clients. This planning ensures that the team can efficiently schedule their day and allocate the necessary time for each house call. While the service is mobile, they do have a physical presence for logistical purposes, and they make sure to have a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking lot for any clients who may need to visit the main office for specific reasons, although their primary service delivery is in-home. This commitment to accessibility in all aspects of their business shows a dedication to serving the entire community without physical barriers.

September 27 · Grace BallowWe asked Jane to assist with our litter; giving them their vaccines, microchips, and a check-up. Jane was disorganized, chaotic, unprepared and unable to complete the tasks. The main reason we had Jane come to our home was to keep our puppies away from the veterinary clinic environment, limiting exposure to germs and the like. While performing the ear checks, Jane on multiple occasions would push the otoscope so far into the ear cancal that every puppy would yelp. This is highly abnormal and uncalled for. Furthermore, when injecting one of the puppies with the microchip needle, she accidentally poked herself, causing blood to run down her hand. Shockingly, she proceeded to inject the puppy with the compromised needle. After doing so the puppy yelped for 15 second as she tried to hold down the puppy to inject the needle. At this point I escorted her out of our home.Professionals that deal with human blood are to be cautious and remove any chance of contact with another. Jane should have excused herself and tended to her puncture before proceeding. Many doctors require a consent to HIV testing if they come into contact with a patient's blood. I have been present for these type of exams dozens upon dozens of times and never experienced such carelessness and lack of technique. Jane appeared to be either not trained in these procedures or lacked any sense of humanity. I pride myself and my business as being a loving, gentle, caring human experience for my puppies. We take extra precaution not to traumatize them in their early, most formative months of life. This was an unprofessional, shocking and upsetting experience.
