Florida Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Introduce
For pet owners in Tampa, Florida, witnessing a beloved animal companion struggle with pain, limited mobility, or a slow recovery from injury or surgery can be heartbreaking. While traditional veterinary clinics provide essential general care, some complex musculoskeletal and neurological issues require a specialized approach. This is where Florida Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine steps in, offering a dedicated facility and expert team focused solely on restoring movement, alleviating pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life for pets. They are a beacon of hope for animals needing a tailored path to recovery and improved function.
Florida Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (FVRSM) is the first facility in the Tampa Bay area dedicated exclusively to providing veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine services. Unlike general veterinary practices, FVRSM focuses intensely on helping pets regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their athletic performance or daily comfort. Led by experienced professionals like Dr. Brown, whose innovative diagnostic methods are highly praised by clients, the clinic emphasizes a holistic and individualized approach to each patient's needs.
Their mission is deeply rooted in helping pets move better, feel better, and ultimately live their best lives. This specialization means they are equipped with advanced tools and techniques specifically designed for rehabilitation, from state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging performed without sedation to comprehensive physical therapy programs. Whether your pet is recovering from an orthopedic surgery, suffering from chronic arthritis, dealing with a neurological condition, or is a canine athlete needing performance enhancement and injury prevention, FVRSM provides a tailored pathway to recovery. They are committed to collaborative care, working closely with referring veterinarians to ensure a seamless and effective treatment journey for every animal.
Florida Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine is conveniently located at 11016 N Dale Mabry Hwy #202, Tampa, FL 33618, USA. While the address is on the bustling N Dale Mabry Highway, the clinic itself is not directly on the highway. It is situated behind the Hudson Drugs Pharmacy building, offering a somewhat more secluded and potentially quieter environment for sensitive pets.
The easiest access from N Dale Mabry Highway is to turn west onto Hudson Lane, which is located between the CVS and the 7-11/Dunkin Donuts. After turning onto Hudson Lane, you then turn left onto the access road directly behind the CVS. This access road will lead you directly to the clinic building. If you are traveling south on N Dale Mabry Highway, you also have the option to turn right into the drive between Hudson Drugs and DeDomenico Pediatric Dentistry. The FVRSM clinic will then be in the building directly behind Hudson Drugs on your left. This thoughtful placement allows for easier patient drop-off and pickup, and there is typically ample parking available to accommodate clients, reducing any stress associated with navigating a busy area. The central Tampa location makes it accessible for residents throughout the city and surrounding areas looking for specialized rehabilitation services.

Florida Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Reviews
What an amazing experience with Dr Brown and the team! My dog has been suffering from leg pain for several months and without high dollar images (and sedation) we couldn’t get an accurate diagnosis. Within our 1 hour visit, Dr Brown was able to take images (without sedation) and diagnose the issue. The scheduling process was simple and the communication with the team was fantastic! We would highly recommend this group for any vet rehab needs.

Aug 06, 2022 · Kim LewisLucy recently had successful ACL surgery. Part of the recommended process is rehab. This group came highly recommended by the BluePearl surgeon. Efficient setup. Lucy is undergoing both laser therapy and water walking therapy. The water walking helps with resistance to help promote muscle growth while not over-stressing the dog’s ACL.
