Plantation Animal Hospital of Tampa Reviews
The best vet in the Tampa area. We’ve been to a few and I can say confidently, I don’t trust anyone else with the care of my fur baby. Everyone is so kind from Rhonda & Valerie at the front desk, to the techs and vets. You can tell they all love with they do by the care and compassion they have with all animals. I always recommend Plantation Animal Hospital to all my friends and family.
Jun 28, 2025 · Elizabeth RuizAfter years of coming to plantation with our 5 dogs, this was my last time. This is not the same office, not the same care, not the same vet. Last appointment of the day, and basically $800 to tell me to put down my furry child of 12 years, only to rush by me out after seeing me crying my eyes out in the lobby. Bedside manner is non existent. Front desk still cares, but I no longer recommend the vet.No follow up or check-in after the visit (yes we didn't use them to put down our dog). They have been seeing this dog for 5 years, cuddled and praised how good and friendly he was over the years. This was former therapy dog that brought joy to so many lives. My heart is broken that someone like this could become a vet.
Jun 28, 2025 · Alexandra YanovskiEvery time I go in, my family and our pets are treated with such great care! This especially matters when going through a difficult time with a furry friend. I recently had to make a short notice emergency visit for my cat Shelby. I was able to be seen (within their hours) and got his test results same day. It wasn't good news, and unfortunately they aren't an emergency clinic (open longer), so I did have to go elsewhere for further testing. Unfortunately, I had to put my Shelby down. However I am still so very grateful with how the staff, especially Dr Aguillard handled everything with care during this tough time. I don't trust anyone but them, which is why I travel close to an hour to get my pets the care they need and deserve.Thank you to Plantation Animal hospital staff for everything you have done ❤️
Jun 19, 2025 · Janet MMy 5yo rescue has much anxiety when going to see our Doc. Plantation always takes extra special care in getting her exams and vaccines. I've been a customer here for over 10 years with my previous rescue. I highly recommend.
Feb 20, 2025 · Orlando RubinoHonestly one of the best vets I have been to! My dog was not feeling well and they squeezed him in same day! They also proactively cleared the waiting room and helped me bring him in since he was a rescue and doesnt do well with other animals. The staff and the doctors were also knowledgeable, patient, and so kind! They knew right away what he needed and were honest and transparent about the services and prices! Very affordable! They even called and texted me after to follow up on him. My dog was better in 2 days because of the medicine and care they provided. So grateful for them!!
