Forked River Animal Hospital Reviews
I love both vets here. Very intelligent and caring. The techs are also so kind! They handled my sick cat with kindness when he had to be put down last year and were amazing with my new kittens. I took in an adult cat who had to be fixed and the pre anesthesia bloodwork was quick.Recently had a scare with FELV with my kittens and received amazing, thorough help with an illness that is not common! Appointments were easy to obtain and the communication was great. The girls at the desk are so very helpful and kind when I call them.Rooms are clean and organized. Never long waiting times.Thank you and I will use them for a long time ❤️ Thank you for being so kind and helpful with my Muffins.
Mar 15, 2025 · Taylor Elizabeth SIf I Could Give Zero, I WouldI will never forgive this vet for what they did to my dogs and cat. This place treated my pets superficially, ignored valid concerns, and contributed directly to the suffering and death of one of our dogs.Back in April2025 , we brought in our dog Azu who was clearly constipated and in distress. They brushed it off and sent us home with NOTHING. We pushed again the next week because Azu was still suffering, and only then did they do an X-ray — because we asked — and surprise: he was in the final stages of cancer. How do you miss that? Then in June2025, we brought in our Yorkie who was falling down, not eating, struggling to sit — and again, the vet said nothing was wrong and handed out some nausea medication. NO temperature taken, NO physical exam, and didn’t even TOUCH my dog once. His stomach was visibly distended and enlarged, and the vet couldn’t be bothered to feel it. The next morning he got worse, so we rushed to Dr. V in Staten Island, who immediately knew something was seriously wrong and referred us to Red Bank Emergency Hospital, where we were told his gallbladder had BURST. We had to put him down that same day. This place is careless and dismissive, and I am absolutely disgusted I ever trusted them with THREE of my animals. Years ago, they also did a blood draw on my newly adopted cat, and it left him with bruised, damaged skin that took months to heal.DO NOT bring your pets here if you value their lives. They overlook signs, ignore symptoms, and leave you dealing with heartbreak that could’ve been prevented.
Jun 24, 2025 · Ahava WalpolaI worked with Dr. Force in early 2000 at the emergency clinic and just reconnected with him through a client of mine. My dog was very sick and I thought I was going to have to put her down happy to say that she is going to make a full recovery and that is things to Dr. Force and his staff For helping Bella She means the world to me. Dr. Force is truly the best and is very very fair with pricing. He helps me out a lot. I would recommend everyone to go there.

May 09, 2025 · Anthony LaspisaWellness exam 2/12/25. Our visit here was brief, the cat was barely touched. He was given a quick shot of cortisone for wheezing. The cat did not respond to this, and we had not much of an explanation. We definietly will not return for a " long term cortisone shot" It is now 2/28, and we found a new vet to contrast.2/28: new business/doctor:Urgent pet visit, squeezed us in day of, the office was empty and clean. Our cat needed his temp taken 103 fever, sending him for blood work, and maybe imaging soon. All of this from a new vet. The new staff listened to us far more, spent about an hour with us. At Frah, nice staff, but doctor wise you will be lucky to spend 10 min here, lucky to be heard, and lucky to have the pet examined thoroughly.Today, the price and plan was made transparent by the new business. He was examined, we were heard, Blood, Urine sample, the cat was free to roam and not being lightly restrained/held. They explained everything in detail and involved us feeding the cat a lick treat as the techs were performing a sample collection.Glad we found a new vet, your pet deserves far better care than FRAH provided for us in 3-4 visits. Dr Force, I hope you take this review as an opportunity to improve listening and compassion for your patients and their families. Today we had a STARK contrast in level of care.
