Nov 19, 2023 · Austin PurchackiNeeded a veterinarian for my dog called several different places and was told it would be anywhere from three days to three weeks before I could get an appointment for her. I called Grandview Animal Hospital which is located in the Enon area of Yadkin county and was told to bring her there that afternoon to be seen.
Sep 09, 2021 · Tony PMy dog Apollo had been very sick for weeks and after 3 visits to our vet we kept getting no answers and no help so we came here. It was such a breath of relief compared to what we had been dealing with. Dr Leon took the time to listen to what had happened to my dog, what were his symptoms, what had the other vet tried to do to treat him, and then he went through what he thought the best course of action would be. He told us from the beginning he suspected it may be cancer and to be wary, but that he would still continue to try everything he could incase that it was something else. We had no trouble getting seen and weren’t being charged $120 emergency fee everytime we needed to be seen or speak to someone like my other vet had been doing. Even when I was just going to pick up medication Dr Leon took time out of his day to come talk to me, see how Apollo was doing and tell me what the plan was if this did or didn’t work. He was very accommodating and worked to try and find a solution to what was happening. Unfortunately it was cancer and there was nothing we could do further to help him, but every one was very kind to us during the process of putting him to rest. I have nothing but kind things to say about this place. They genuinely care about their patients and the people who come here. They listen and we weren’t excessively overcharged and told we needed unnecessary treatment and supplies like my previous vet had been doing.
Oct 03, 2024 · Abigail Julia L.Don't recommend using this vet. I took my service dog in to get him fix and was turned away for he was barking and growling. He was 1 doing his job to protect my boundaries for I have extrem bad panick attacks. 2. The lady behind the counter went over the paper work way 2 fast for me to understand and I asked her to slow down for my anxiety was going off which leads to panick attacks. Well she informed me that she also was dealing with family trouble. So my dog also picked up on that which made the room more intense that normal. You should not be working if your going to break down at work. Take some time off. Well when she went to get Onyx and came up 2 him way 2 fast. So he was just doing his job and barked and growled. Then another lady tried to get him but he was just doing his job. So they turned me away for they did not have a guy on staff to take him back. Well the could of did many different things for he not the first dog I have like this. They could of put a muzle on him or gave him some calming medication but did they offer. NO!!! FOR THE ONLY REASION IS I WAS NOT PAYING FOR THEIR SERVICES CAUSE IM LOW INCOME. WHICH SHOULD NOT MATTER FOR THEY DID NOT SO THE BEST THEY COULD! I DID NOT WALK OUT THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT DO IT FOR 1 THEY DID NOT HAVE A GUY ON STAFF AND 2 THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO RESCHEDULE. THEY TURNED ME AWAY I WAS ALSO ON THE PHONE WITH SOMEONE WHO ALSO HEARD THE CONVERSATION.
