Veterinarian, Animal hospital ★4.0

4.0
We moved to Kennesaw during the chaos of COVID, with three dogs in tow, from a town where I had worked at the local animal hospital for 12 years. Suddenly, we were in a new city where we didn’t know anyone. Our lab was elderly and needed extra care, while the other two dogs were fine. A friend of ours, who was working on our house at the time, recommended Dr. Peckich. When we brought our senior girl in, Dr. Peckich and his team were welcoming and incredibly thorough. Two years ago, we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to let her go. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but we knew it was time. We all wish our pets could live forever, but that’s not possible. I remember questioning our decision as we sat in the room with Dr. Peckich, but he assured us that if he didn’t think it was the right time, he would have told us. Even now, he continues to care for our other dogs. Recently, our pug has been having some health issues, and we’ve been there a lot. We’re so thankful for their ongoing support. As clients, it’s easy to forget how tough the job of a veterinarian and their staff can be. So, if you’re ever in the position to, make sure you thank them and let them know how much you appreciate their hard work. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, down-to-earth vet and team, Dr. Peckich and his staff are the ones you want. - Sharon mccrum
