★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We are long time patients and we just put down our 17 year old dog. Dr. Han was so compassionate and kind to us, as was the rest of the staff. They have a gem in Barb at check out. She’s so kind and caring. She gave my son and I hugs and it was so sweet and needed. I will always recommend Munster Animal Hospital. They are truly the best around.
August 02 · Sheri ZuccarelliI had a wonderful experience there. Staff was so nice and helpful. The doctors were very helpful and informative. They get a 100 stars in my book. I highly recommend this place if you have a pet. That needs special attention. and they took very, very good care of him.
July 01 · BrianTank (Bishon 15 yrs.) & Tyson (American Bulldog 12 yrs.) have been coming here since puppies. The care received for just about 14 years; whether medical, grooming or boarding has always been exceptional. Dr. Han has an amazing staff from the front to the back who show so much love to our doggies!!! Our little guy (Tank) has been groomed by Jamie since the beginning and does an exceptional job! My little one has lost sight & hearing & yet they are still so very gentle with him. Also, I love the fact that when we are able to have our fur babies in the same cage when boarding them. I feel so secure in knowing that they’re together when we have had to leave them. Here’s a major plus that I love about this place…It ALWAYS smells so good. Whatever they use; I promise you will never trace the smell of stinky puppies when you walk in that door!🤣Keep up the exceptional work!!!! The Walters have & will continue to recommend you to anyone who asks! 🐶🐾❤️
April 21 · Shannon Collins-Walters⭐ 1-Star ReviewAbsolutely Horrible Experience – Hidden Fees & DishonestyI had one of the worst experiences at Munster Animal Clinic, and I feel it’s important to warn other pet parents.I brought my dog, Rex, in for a simple walk-in rabies vaccine update. What should have been a quick visit turned into a nightmare. After verifying past records with a previous vet, our estimated 15-minute wait dragged into over an hour and a half. No updates. No apologies. Just sitting and waiting. When we were finally seen, the vet, Dr. Won Han, recommended a 12-month heartworm injection as an alternative to the monthly chewable. I asked about the cost—he told me $55 for the injection and $105 for the screening. That should’ve raised a red flag—vets typically direct you to the front desk for pricing because they’re not involved in billing.Still, I was rushed because I needed to pick up my son. At checkout, I wasn’t even given an itemized invoice until after I had already paid. Once in the car, I reviewed it and realized we were grossly overcharged with additional fees I was never informed about. This clinic operates with zero transparency. They don’t educate—they upsell. They don’t clarify—they deceive. And when you question the charges, they dismiss you and claim there’s nothing they can do.I’m beyond disappointed. This isn’t just bad service—it’s unethical.I work hard for my money, and I refuse to let places like this take advantage of trusting customers.Avoid this place at all costs. Munster Animal Clinic is a scam operation hiding behind lab coats.I hope they don’t make another dime in that place
July 17 · LAE MyHairBe warned! I wish I would've read the reviews prior to visiting because I could've avoided putting myself through the frustration and unnecessary stress that occurred. Thar Dr. Han was absolutely horrible as far as comminicating and showing any real concern for people dealing with their pets having a serious illness. His concern is more with shocking you with the costs to simply assess what's wrong with your pet. He came in, had me raise my dog up to assess my concerns and then quickly walks out just to present me with a damn breakdown of the exuberent costs involved with simply telling me what I already knew --- my dog has tumors. Gee, no kiddin Doc!! I took my dog in to get an ACTUAL treatment plan. Not a damning stare of gloom. The xrays (2) of them came to over $300, and the bloodwork was going to be another $250 just for more generalizations. I had already paid over $100 just to get her seen. If I wanted to know rather my pets tumors were cancerous, I would have to do surgery which he quickly informed me was "going to cost a lot".... I was done. No other suggestions or advice to actually help my dog. Which after leaving, I found out from another pet owner going through a similar situation that there WERE other options that he could've done and was never offered. A $550 in total I paid for such awful service. I will not be returning there ever again.
