★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We brought our dog in and had such a great experience. They were able to do on-site X-rays, which was super convenient, and they took such good care of our puppy. The staff took their time with us and were extremely thorough when explaining everything—especially since I’m not very familiar with my dog’s anatomy. They even pulled out a book to visually show me what things should look like, which was so helpful. They’re now referring us to a specialist, and I feel confident moving forward thanks to their support. Everyone we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and truly empathetic to our situation.I can't recommend them enough! April 15 · The Hive
- We just had the BEST experience here! We recently moved to the area, and yesterday I called and set up annual appointments for my dog and cat, which was easy and we were able to get in very quickly, even as new patients. The very next day (today), my dog got injured. I called and they were able to see her same day, on a Saturday, in just an hour after the call. But she started swelling rapidly, so I called back and they told me to just bring her right in. They immediately had a doctor check her vitals as soon as we got there. Thankfully everything was fine and it was just a bee sting. They gave her some allergy meds and she is on the mend. Everyone we interacted with at the office was beyond kind and helpful. Julie called back a couple hours later as they were closing for the day just to check on her, and gave me their hospital cell phone number in case we needed anything over the weekend, plus sent her records to the emergency vet just in case we have to go in over the weekend. We seriously received the MOST compassionate and timely care and we weren't even really patients yet. So thankful to everyone here!! June 21 · Maggie Fischer
- Absolutely LOVE Clayton Road Veterinary! So happy that I switched from my previous animal clinic! Dr. Hart is the kindest, smartest and accessible veterinarian you will ever find! She just “gets” my Aussie. ❤️🐶 June 19 · KATHLEEN HARSHMAN
- The staff and veterinarians are always super friendly and very helpful. They always take great care of Gibbs (our cat) and did an amazing job with Bailey. We will continue to bring our family pets to Clayton Road no matter where we live. ❤️ June 06 · Rachel
- We have been going here since 2019. The care here is great, but the prices are just too high. If you have a family and a pet, this might not be the most budget-friendly option. They charge $65 for an annual check-up, which seems reasonable—until you leave with a bill that’s nearly 10 times that amount. Appointments run efficiently, usually taking about 20 minutes. $575 at 20 minutes is over $1700 an hour…The staff is knowledgeable and focused on the animals, but I wish there was a bit more understanding and empathy toward pet owners. Owning a pet comes with unexpected expenses, and it can be tough to keep up. Instead of feeling supported, I sometimes felt judged for not realizing just how costly pet healthcare can be. Their priority is clearly the animal’s well-being—which is great—but a little more compassion for the owners would go a long way.Affordability is a real concern. My dog’s annual check-up ended up costing $575, and the main reason for the visit was for getting his teeth cleaned. This was quoted at over $2,000 on top of the first visit. For comparison, in 2022, I paid $250 for the visit and $800 for a cleaning that included 10 extractions. The cost increase is hard to justify, and unfortunately, I just can’t keep up.If you’re looking for high-quality care and price isn’t a concern, this might be a great fit. But if you need more affordable options, which they don’t offer, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. March 12 · Guy Houser
