★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I had to bring in my 15-year-old Shih Tzu, JoJo, as he was actively dying. My daughter and I were in tears, but we were left sitting in the lobby while he seized in my arms. No one offered privacy, comfort, or even acknowledged our grief for far too long. I held my dog as he lost control of his body in front of strangers, and only then did someone hand me a pad. I was even told his body would be put “in the freezer” until I decided what to do.The only compassion we received was from the veterinarian at the very end, who was kind and gentle with JoJo. For that, I am thankful. But the lack of empathy from the staff made the worst day of my life even more traumatic.Families deserve dignity when saying goodbye to their pets. Sadly, we didn’t get that here August 29 · Kari Luna
- The vet and technicians were efficient, patient and super sweet to my litter of puppies! I am from Houston, but they're worth the drive, the excellent service is unparalleled. July 13 · Jacqueline Torres
- Zero stars - terrible experience. Had two Catahoula leopard dogs -one spayed and one neutered same day. Next morning our female had a knot the size of a small orange at the surgery site: called the clinic and they said 'send pictures' so we did. Told us to monitor her, was a reaction to the surgery and would resolve. Waited anxiously/closely monitoring- 11 days later post surgery on the day before Thanksgiving she was bleeding from the surgery site and the knot had not resolved-called the clinic terribly concerned, and...they told us to send pictures. We declined and asked for the vet to see her. We were told they were closing early for the Thanksgiving holiday and were booked back to back. We were and still are so angry at the lack of post surgery care and concern displayed by this vet. We waited patiently for 11 days after being told she was having a reaction to the surgery only for her to start bleeding on day 11. We kick ourselves for not raising cain immediately over their lack of concern and unwillingness to maintain continuity of care for a puppy they had performed surgery on. We hung up w/this clinic and called Mexia Vet-they saw her immediately and we are SO GRATEFUL--they saved her life. She had ruptured-they re-sutured her w/staples and sent her home on anti-biotic. We never received a follow up call from Robertson Vet -nothing. We get upset all over again every time we think of the absolute neglect of Bailey. We feel we failed her as well by not going w/our gut that something was seriously wrong that first day after surgery. We don't know what happened, maybe the vet was in a hurry, maybe she failed to suture correctly-we'll never know. What we do know is the entire clinic failed Bailey and us. December 10 · Jordan Poole
- I practiced law in the Braźos Valley for 30 years. My animals have been patients at RCVS for 20 years. They have an incredible team of exceptional veterinarians and support staff. I have a lifelong association with animals and am very particular who provides their medical care. Currently I drive several hours for treatment to take my animals there due to the highly competent diagnostic and surgical care. Certainly worth the drive from Bryan/College Station if you are into personalized care. August 01 · Jack Phariss
- I needed to get my dogs teeth cleaned. I got several quotes and all of them were outrageous. A friend told me to call here. They got my Dasher in right away, it was about half of what the vets in Bryan/College Station charged and they were awesome. It’s a bit of a drive but in the end both Dasher and I came out smiling!
