Tamaqua Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Ive known Beth for awhile. Shes excellent. Shes honest and gentle with animals. Shes a kind person. I took my last senior cat to a vet in Friedensburg the one time, they handled him roughly for a senior, he was crying out, paws sweating, biting and scratching. I took him to Beth for a second opinion and he was as calm as can be. It put me at ease and just proves Beth is great with animals.
Aug 12, 2019 · Jada KolbeThe staff are nice, You get in and out quickly, they are cheaper than other places I called for but you get what you pay for. The place is old and not sanitary looking. I doubt I'll take my dog here again. This is my first visit/ time dealing with a vet and my first dog but Idk I expected the vet place to be some what like a human doctor office/visit and what vibes I get are like if I took my dog to a non licensed motel for some illegal plastic surgery like in movies. They also seem to just want you to come in to get money. So overall I won't recommend.
Apr 28, 2022 · Melissa LeonorTook both of my huskies to the vet today and it was a terrible experience. We spent more time waiting (the place was empty) then both dogs did getting their shots and “exams.” Every time we go there we get charged a $40 exam fee for a “wellness check” that is just her listening to their hearts and that’s it. Today she gave my one year old husky an attitude because he went to jump to be petted and she snapped at him and said don’t jump on me. She also couldn’t control the situation of my dog getting hyper and having anxiety over getting his shot. She’s a vet, well she claims she is and she doesn’t like dogs touching her and she can’t handle situations with hyper dogs. Will be finding a new bet ASAP for my dogs. Terrible experience, don’t go here!! Save your money
Apr 07, 2021 · Kaitlin GomezMy dog is my ESA and my world. He's had an ear infection for awhile now. We cannot travel far. Not 1 single vet in tamaqua or hometown will see him. When I call they don't even ask what is wrong or anything just immediately say they aren't taking any new patients. Then just hang up. This vet is no exception they did just as I said above. It breaks my heart watching him shake his head all day and scratch till it bleeds. I try to do what I can but I am not a vet and I cannot prescribe my own antibiotics unfortunately. 😞
Dec 29, 2021 · Wendy GarrityMy daughter had to put her 16-year-old cat down. We were so upset and Beth was so caring, patient, and kind. We have been going to her for a long time.
