★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very nice staff! I appreciate that you can schedule appointments online as well. I got there a little early for our appointment and only had to wait about 10 minutes to go back to a room. We saw Dr. Tripp and she was wonderful! The techs were great as well. They took my nervous pitty girl in the back for a few things and I could hear them gushing over her and giving her loving lol overall very good experience for our fur baby and reasonable pricing. This will probably be our primary vet in the future!
August 21 · Morgan MoodyThey’re so sweet here and it is extremely easy to get an appointment once you are an established patient, which we appreciate every time one of our dogs inevitably gets into something they’re not supposed to! They take such good care of our babies and we are so happy to have found this Veterinary Hospital.
July 10 · Ashley MoralesI brought my boy Jetson in yesterday because he was shaking, drooling, and had his tongue out—almost like he was overheated, though he wasn’t. The team quickly figured out that he had somehow tweaked his lower back and prescribed medication to help him feel better.Thankfully, he’s doing a bit better today. Everyone at the clinic was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly kind. I was especially touched to receive a follow-up call today just to check in on how he was doing.Because of the care and attention we received, I’ve decided to switch to them for all my future vet needs. Highly recommended!
July 09 · Debra RanalliI can’t say enough good things about Tyrone Veterinary Hospital. Recently, my dog Peaches had a severe case of pneumonia and had to be admitted to VEG hospital—but the care and support we received from Dr. Tripp and Athaiah, the vet tech at Tyrone, made all the difference. :-)Dr. Tripp was incredibly knowledgeable, quick to recognize the seriousness of Peaches’ condition, and acted immediately to get us into a fantastic nearby hospital for the treatment she needed. Her professionalism and swift response gave me so much peace of mind during a really stressful time.Athaiah went above and beyond—she spent almost an hour with me, patiently answering every single question I had, offering thoughtful recommendations for Peaches’ recovery, and explaining how to better manage her overall health. Her kindness, grace, and genuine care truly stood out.I feel so lucky to have Tyrone Veterinary Hospital close by—not just for me, but for Peaches too. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. You’ve gained a customer for life. Peaches and I are so grateful for your help and support through this tough time. We love you guys!
March 10 · Isabella SaucedoUnfortunately I can't give a 5 star for this place even though I wish I could have.So my experience was this. I have a pup who has mega colon and has for awhile he's a senior dog in comes with the territory. Historically I go to my vet In Gainesville as they have been wonderful understanding and affordable. My pup regularly needs to get an enema which my vet Charges typically 65 to 75 dollars for. This is fair. He's usually only there for about 30 mins to an hour. Well I wasn't able to drive to Gainesville and thought due to good reviews this place would be the right place for my dog. No while the people there at the front desk were very nice I had called prior to coming in asking them how much it would be JUST for an enema for my dog. No additional testing was needed I sent all work from my other vet to this location and they proceeded to tell me the enema would be between 120 and 220 depending on severity. While this was astronomically higher than my vet I figured well alright it's not likely to be the highest it's never that bad. Well when I got there mind you my dog has had issues with walking. They immediately took advantage of the emotional side of the situation and proceeded to1. Charge me the absolute maximum they stated on the phone. $2202. Proceeded to tell me I should perform another $700 in tests even though I sent them all work and tests already done at other vet3. All to finish it off and say I should think about putting my dog down due to his struggles with walking. Which would be another several hundred bucks. The lack of humanity and compassion to do that all in the sake of overcharging clients when they are reacting emotionally is pretty scummy and ethically devoid.Needless to say I did just the enema work as that was what I came for and you'll love this.Purchased a special Harness for my dogs back legs for $60 bucks where I support his back legs during a walk and switched him to an all liquid diet and wallah my almost 13 year old dog who while I did need to rehab him and help him walk for about a month and a half is now back to his old self getting up on his own, running, hiking with me with no issues with mega colon at all anymore. You guys lost me as a client forever due to the lack of compassion that was had in exploring cost effective and humane solutions. They wanted me to walk out of there without my dog paying over a $1000 and for $60 bucks a little effort and time along with a diet change I can now still enjoy my best friends time with me while we have it as he enters his twilight years. For anyone who goes here obviously do you best for your animal and your Well being but before taking anything this place says seriously do some research, weigh pros and cons, and look at other options as they will always do whats best in their interest first before whats in your pets.Gave them 2 stars because receptionists were kind when I came in.
