VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center Reviews
It’s been just over a year since my dog was diagnosed with lymphoma. I wanted to say thank you to Shoreline VCA and Dr. T & team. They were so patient, kind, compassionate and most importantly made my Ollie’s nub wiggle even while he was going through chemotherapy. Although we lost him about 6 months later, which we knew was a likely outcome, I wouldn’t trade that time for the world. He was happy, and was able to enjoy another summer and another birthday with us.Any pet parent knows a terminal diagnosis is gut wrenching and emotional, and they were truly the kindest team to work with. They gave me all the facts and allowed me to make the decisions that were best for Ollie without judgement and with compassionate support. After being told pursuing treatment wasn’t worth it from another vet, I am so glad i found Dr. T and she was able to get him seen right away. Most importantly, she made his last 6 months comfortable, always keeping quality of life as number one priority. Even when there doesn’t seem to be hope, make the appointment. I hope i never have to, but I would drive 45 mins to an hour, weekly, again in a heartbeat. There’s no one better.- Ollie’s mom (Laura swiatek)
Apr 22, 2025 · Laura SwiatekI just want to say thank you to the staff of this vet hospital. I didn't know I was gonna have to put my dog down but despite that the staff were incredibly patient and helpful during my difficult time. They took care of my dog Luna and ran all sorts of tests, told me what was going on with her and what to expect in terms of treatment and costs which was appreciated because they were very transparent. They gave me my space so I could spend my final moments with my Luna before putting her to sleep and sending her to doggy heaven. R.I.P Luna
Jun 24, 2025 · Brandon MilanesWe love the professionalism, care and love that VCA Shoreline offers at any time. Not only have they helped us tremendously with our previous rescue fur baby Chupy Chupy in which unexpectedly and thankfully added years on to her life with us 🫶🏼, we recently rescued a puppy at 8 weeks old, now named Rocky, when he wasn’t doing well and they tested him for the parvovirus in which he unfortunately tested positive for. Dr. Anthony Roccisano and the amazing team there helped us save his life as this virus is very contagious amongst dogs (in which we already have two) and is life threatening. I am extremely happy to post that Rocky is alive and thriving and just turned 4 months old and living his best life in a healthy and happy manner with his two sisters and us. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Jun 13, 2025 · Lisa M DaubenhauserYesterday , on Easter Sunday, our 11 year old Lab, Jerry Lee, was really suffering. He has been very ill for a while now and his condition was worsening. We brought him in to end his suffering. The staff at VCA were very caring and compassionate and especially the Vet, Dr Froud was very knowledgeable and empathetic, and supported my husband and I. She supplied immediate palliative treatment to Jerry so that he was comfortable. We were given an opportunity to say our goodbyes( including our other dog Rory in the farewell), and Jerry was euthanized. We feel very grateful for the way we were all treated.
Apr 21, 2025 · jennifer johnsonThe staff at VCA Shoreline took great care of our two dogs when it was suspected that one of them ate my son's retainer. From my initial panicked call, the reception took great care of us. They offered measured care and didn't put our dogs through any screenings that were unnecessary/expensive/invasive for the dogs which they easily could have given my level of panic. I was particularly impressed by the vet tech whose calm presence suited my nervous rescue dog very well and the also the calm and professional demeanor of the vet herself (which is what I needed!) Highly recommend.
