Based on client feedback, Tysor Veterinary Clinic offers several notable features:
- Caring and Friendly Staff: Many clients describe the entire team as "nice and friendly." One deeply grateful client expressed "deepest gratitude to Tysor Veterinary Clinic for the exceptional care and support they provided for my beloved fur baby, Astro. Your dedication, kindness, and professionalism mean the world to me."
- Strong Communication: The clinic is noted for keeping clients "informed and communicated so well throughout everything," which is invaluable during stressful times concerning a pet's health.
- Dr. Joanna S. Tysor's Dedication: Dr. Tysor is highlighted for her caring nature and commitment to giving "every animal a chance at a good life," reflecting her passion for animal welfare, including rescue and recovery efforts.
- Comprehensive Services: Despite being described as a "small" clinic, the breadth of services offered, from routine exams and vaccinations to surgery, imaging, boarding, and grooming, is a significant advantage for local pet owners.
- Adoption Program: Their involvement in pet adoptions is a commendable feature, showcasing their commitment to animal welfare beyond just medical treatment.
- Client-Focused Approach: The clinic strives to ensure clients understand their pet's health concerns and treatment plans, making sure pet parents are comfortable with the information provided.
It is also important to acknowledge that, as with any busy practice, appointments can be hard to secure quickly, with the doctor often "booked and it’s hard to get an appointment sooner than later." Additionally, while the clinic aims to provide the best care, sometimes outcomes are not as hoped, leading to emotional distress, as reflected in one review concerning a pet's passing after treatment for kidney failure. Transparency in prognosis, even when difficult, is a crucial aspect of client communication, and this feedback points to an area where some clients desired more direct honesty regarding severe conditions.

Apr 12, 2025 · Charley Small (Charley9300)This Vet place is small but But everyone is nice and friendly. Dr is always booked and it’s hard to get an appointment sooner than later. I am also upset because my dog had kidney failure and they told me that with the IV fluids that they were going to give her she would be better and heal but I feel like the IV fluids made my dog feel worse and she passed away on Easter Sunday, a couple of days after the IVs were given to her, at only 8 years old. I just wish they wouldn’t have gotten my hopes up. I just wish they would’ve been honest and told me my dog wasn’t going to make it.
