Reviews from real customers offer mixed perspectives on Veterinary Services of Pawtucket, highlighting both strong positives and significant concerns.
Exceptional Compassion and Care (Positive Highlight): One prominent review from Gloria Horton speaks volumes about the compassionate and loving care provided by "Dr. Langford." This client expresses profound gratitude for the doctor's dedication to her chihuahua, Ivy, through routine checkups and particularly during emotionally challenging times, including the loss of her husband and ultimately, Ivy's passing. The review emphasizes Dr. Langford's "love of all animals," her "great care and compassion" for the pet owner, and describes her and her team as "truly amazing" and driven by "passion." This suggests a deeply empathetic and supportive veterinary relationship for some clients.
Professionalism and Ethical Conduct: Another positive sentiment from a Reddit user suggests that "If this is about Dr. Langford, then yes, she cares about the animals she sees. She's on the affordable side." This further supports the notion of a veterinarian prioritizing animal welfare and accessibility.
Concerns Regarding Professional Demeanor and Facility (Areas for Improvement): Conversely, a very strong negative review describes a "strangest interaction" with the veterinarian, citing her as "strangely rude for no reason." This review also calls the facility "scary" and "a real dump," indicating concerns about the clinic's appearance and hygiene. The reviewer "literally walked out" due to the interaction and the condition of the place, describing it as "SO STRANGE." This feedback suggests significant inconsistencies in patient experience and perception of professionalism and facility upkeep.
It is important for prospective clients in Rhode Island to weigh these varied experiences, recognizing that individual interactions and perceptions can differ greatly. The positive reviews highlight a deeply caring and compassionate side, while the negative feedback points to potential challenges in client communication and facility presentation.

Veterinary Services of Pawtucket Reviews
I really wish I’d seen these reviews before going to this vet. I think this woman is insane! I seriously had the strangest interaction I’ve ever had with any veterinarian. She was so strangely rude for no reason. I was there asking for help and to establish my dog with her as a patient since we live so close. It’s scary in there, too. A real dump. If the. Eat wasn’t so rude and strange, I probably sly wouldn’t have returned just by the way the place looks. We literally walked out. It was SO STRANGE.
Jun 13, 2025 · Courtney ChurchThank you to Dr.langford for her love of all animals but especially the loving care she always gave my sweet little chihuahua Ivy. She was well cared for every checkup. She also showed great care and compassion for me when my husband passed and our dog who at the time was 9 was also affected by the loss too. Now 2 1/2 years later my sweet girl crossed the rainbow bridge, thank you to Dr. Langford for for again being so caring and compassionate. This is truly her passion she and her team is truly amazing! It is and will be always appreciated! 🩷Gloria Horton

Jun 10, 2025 · Leo AlbertsMy dog has found her new Vet.! It's very hard to find a new vet these days, especially a good one. Most wouldn't give me an appointment for months, January!!!! Well when I called, concerned about my new puppy, I was told that they were booked also, but bring her in at noon and the Doc would see her. Well she gave her an excellent physical, gave her special prescription dog food and antibiotics, but all on her lunch break! I highly recommend this place! Byrdie won't be seeing anyone else!
