Dr. William Truesdale Reviews
This is the best Vet in the area in my opinion. Clean rooms, nice staff, friendly vets. Great price for services. Cats and dogs.Highly recommended.
Mar 18, 2025 · Jesse GonzalezI have not left a review for this vet since doing so has been the last thing on my mind since my dog DIED from a botched neuter surgery... the most common, basic surgery there is. But after telling the story to countless people, including my new vet for my other dog, they recommend the least I should do is warn other people - so they can hopefully avoid the heartbreak of losing their best friend too. My healthy, happy German Shepard went in to be neutered on the morning of 12/9. He was picked up at 5pm and was dead on the ER vet table by 11:30pm. Dr. Truesdale told me during the surgery there was more bleeding than usual because my dog was "very vascular" .. but he stopped it and everything looks good now and he woke up from anesthesia just fine. I was obviously concerned, so I asked what to look out for. He said bleeding around the incision sight. I laid with him on a mattress on the floor watching him the entire time. I realized the moment he stopped breathing. There was NO EXTERNAL BLEEDING. No whining, crying, or anything that would make me think something was wrong. My partner performed CPR the entire drive to the ER vet. We called ahead of time to let them know we are coming. They did CPR for 30-45 minutes. But he was gone. They put a needle in his abdomen and pulled out blood. So my best friend was slowly bleeding out for hours and I had no idea. Dr. Truesdale obviously made a mistake. He called the next day when the ER vet alerted him to the death and he was "confused". Maybe a suture broke? But how? He was laying on a mattress the entire time. No falls. Nothing. That means he made a mistake. A mistake that took my dog's life. I am completely broken. A part of me died with him that day. He was my BEST FRIEND. My family. Why did this happen?
Apr 03, 2025 · Diana S.This incident happened a few years ago, but after reviewing some of the reviews, in retrospect I should have written about these things sooner. The short story is we lost a cat only a few days after a surgery to have mamory tumors removed. She started having seizures after the surgery. She NEVER had seizures before. She scratched up one of the techs during follow-up and they said someone told them that she was declawed. Which was totally incorrect. She still had staples in and who knows what happened. She died yowling in pain the next morning, and it was increduily traumatic for my husband and I. That was the last time we went to this vet. Before that, in another incident I was told that another one of our cats was going to have a tooth removed. I sent him in for the prodecure and got him back with the tooth still there and only a cleaning was done. I had one vet tell me the tooth was infected and being removed and then another told me it didn't need to be removed. That tooth ended up becoming a very expensive issue once it got worse to the point that we were not able to afford to have the tooth and other teeth that the infection spread to removed before he passed away from complications. And then there was the misinformation about my dog's sutures being removed after neutering. He wasn't given an e collar that we were charged for on the bill and were told that he didn't have sutures. Which was very strange. Imagine our surprise when we realized he did infact have sutures and had to go out to quickly purchase our own e collar. All in all there's miscommunication abound in this office. I'm so sorry for anyone else who lost their pets or dealt with further complications after going here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! OUR PETS ARE OUR FAMILY MEMBERS AND THIS OFFICE NEEDS TO TAKE THESE THINGS SERIOUSLY!!!!
Jul 05, 2025 · JennMy 1st time there. The front desk needs some serious training. The check out receptionist to the right was so unprofessional and RUDE!!!. Baily Roy was rude and has an attitude issues. SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO YOU. I'LL LET THE VET KNOW.
