Domenique V.7110 La BreaHollywood, Los Angeles, California 90046[Your Email Address][Your Phone Number]Wednesday, May 14thVeterinary Care Center6455 Santa Monica BoulevardLos Angeles, California 90038To Whom It May Concern,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address a misunderstanding regarding the kitten I brought into your facility around the 2nd of May. It has come to my attention that the kitten, whom I was treating and intended to adopt, has been given to another individual. I would like to clarify my position and express my concerns about this situation. As you are aware, I brought the kitten to your clinic for medical care and support. At no point did I intend to relinquish my rights to this animal. I had made arrangements to pick up the kitten 10 days after the 2nd of May, which would have been approximately the 12th of May, as discussed with your staff. Unfortunately, the decision to transfer custody of the kitten to a third party without my consent has left me feeling both confused and distressed. The individual who is currently caring for the kitten was not the primary caregiver but merely offered financial assistance during a time when I could not. While I appreciate her willingness to help, it was clear that I intended to reclaim my kitten once it was healthy, as agreed upon during our consultations.I would kindly request that you review your policies regarding animal custody and ensure that such situations are handled with clearer communication and respect for the rights of the individual who initially brought in the pet for care. It is important to me that the well-being of the kitten is prioritized, and I firmly believe that I am still that kitten's rightful owner.I am eager to resolve this matter amicably and would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope to hear from you soon.Sincerely,Domenique V.7110 La BreaHollywood, Los Angeles, California 90046
May 15, 2025 · Domenique VergonaI love the Veterinary Care Center! They have taken care of our animals and are so attentive. I’ve been coming here since 2017, and it’s always been a positive experience. Thank you!
Mar 23, 2025 · Dana HolmI am so happy with the care my cat has received here! He recently got some dental extractions and the whole process was surprisingly stress-free. Everyone that I have interacted with is very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Also their hours of operation make it very easy to make an appointment that works with your availability! Couldn’t say enough great things about Veterinary Care Center.
Mar 15, 2025 · Amy HoutsPlenty of parking and available late appointments, friendly staff and fast service.Couple of years ago I wanted to switch from my previous vet and they didn't accept new patients, I am glad I checked back and at the date of this review they took in both of my dogs with very convenient and immediately available appointments.I'm so glad I checked back.
Jun 02, 2025 · Abhi-Irina Perak (KosherGoddess)I brought my 8-year-old micro Maltese to VCC because she was hacking and clearly unwell. Without running any blood work, CT, MRI, or further testing, the doctor took one look at the X-ray and immediately diagnosed her with cancer—then told me I would need to put her down. The doctor was not only abrupt and insensitive but also dismissive and cold during what was already an emotional time.Thankfully, I did not follow their advice. I took my dog to another animal hospital for a second opinion, where they properly evaluated her and diagnosed pneumonia, not cancer. She was treated with antibiotics and steroids and is already much more stable than she was after being at VCC for 24 hours. This experience was incredibly traumatic and could have ended in tragedy had I not sought another opinion. Please, for the safety of your pet, always get a second opinion. I strongly advise against bringing your pet here if you want compassionate, thorough, and accurate care.
