Hands down best emergency vet I have ever been to . The entire staff is amazing and I would never go anywhere but here for my babies. From the minute you walk through the door they make a stressful situation feel a little better with how nice they treat you and your pet. I am in love with how you are able to stay with your fur baby throughout the whole visit and I have NEVER been anywhere where they allow you to do so and this way makes me feel a million times more comfortable. Dr. Callahan was amazing and you can tell she actually has a compassion for what she does and actually wants to help your baby . The entire staff was amazing the day I went and I wish I didn’t forget the girls name in the front but she was the best and helped me to remain calm while they were performing some tests on my baby . Thank you so so so so much VEG I will be recommending you to everyone I know !!! - Elaine Zupko

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) Philadelphia is prominently located at 1213 Walnut St Suite 150, Philadelphia, PA 19107, USA. This address places the emergency veterinary hospital in a highly accessible and central part of downtown Philadelphia, specifically within the bustling Washington Square West neighborhood. Its prime location on Walnut Street, a major thoroughfare, ensures excellent visibility and ease of navigation, which is crucial in an emergency situation.

For New Jersey pet owners (and Pennsylvanians in this case!), accessibility to VEG Philadelphia is a significant advantage. The hospital boasts an "Excellent Transit" score of 100/100 and a "Walker's Paradise" score of 98/100, indicating superb public transportation options and extreme walkability.
